I smoke. Its glorious. Nothing really to add, only that I have found it to be beneficial in every aspect of my life.
Everything turned purple when I was doing squats while high… Adrenaline + Weed = Fail.
Edit: May have been another reason, but, I assume it may be why, only day I ever did while high.

All these positive studies; anybody know if they’re based on smoking a joint of pure weed, or weed and tobacco mix? i’m assuming the former, but i’m sure more people smoke the latter??
In the US people smoke who smoke weed generally, I would say >90%, do not mix tobacco in it as people in the UK do.
As many people have mentioned, marijuana does wonders for muscle awareness/relaxation. Stretching after smoking is what finally enabled me to loosen up my tight hips and fix other issues. It also makes the whole process feel much better and makes foam rolling and similar tissue work easier.

I have found the exact same thing to be true.
I have also found it to be an excellent tool for training, especially with brazilian JJ
In addition, it has potential side effects like possible infertility and making people actually enjoy the Grateful Dead…

Excuse me. It does not follow that people who smoke pot will like the Grateful Dead. It is more logical to assume that people like me who drop ACID like the Grateful Dead. Also, people who have never seen the Grateful Dead live have a hard time “getting” them. There is great disparity between Grateful Dead recorded and Grateful Dead Live.
Pot does tend to make me a bit lethargic, so I would not use it as a training aid. However, if it helps you to relax, post-workout, then by all means toke up!
If I smoke weed consecutively for three or more days, my strength and energy levels plummet. I find myself choking down a few fat-burners prior to working out in these drowsy states for that much needed caffeine boost. I try and keep the recreational smoking to just the weekends so my training doesn’t suffer during the week.

How old are you? You look 20.
At that age, I could fucking mainline heroin and that wouldn’t stop me from anything.

Don’t get the vape. You have to smoke a shit ton of weed in that thing to get high; just get a nice bong.
wtf… that is totally opposite… you smoke way less to get just as high… it is a different type of high though… more of a calming effect that you dont really notice as much
my story:
I’ve always had some sleep issues. Unless I’m away on a vacation, really relaxed, getting a full day in of shit and crashing right when I hit the bed.
Ambien doesn’t work, none of the other shit I’ve tried works, all of it makes me feel like shit.
I started smoking regularly this summer. Only at night, with the compromise that I can’t eat period after smoking. Sleep problems, be gone forever. Now even if I’m home operating the easy way, I can get to bed without using awful drugs that make me feel like shit. Fuck that shit.

Unless i was smoking a doob in bed this would be impossible. And even then i’d probably end up walking down to the kitchen half an hour later and rummaging around in the cupboards.
I don’t know about you guys but I smoke a little before I train and my veins want to burst. After one good set I’m pumped. By the end of my session I feel freakish. I smoke good shit though and just enough to get a decent buzz, not stoned. I feel like I can concentrate better as well. Probably me just being a pot head. Does anyone else get a super pump from bud? Fuck NO2 shit.

Does wonders for your short term memory, too…
