Marijuana and Hormone Levels

Hello. I’ve had gyno for the past, oh…12 years or so. It only starts to become really noticeable after I’ve gained weight and then goes away after I cut down.

I recently took up smoking pot again and am about to start trimming down. In the interest of putting this fight to rest, I will smoke no less than two joints per day for about 8 weeks while I lose around 15 lbs. If the gyno does not diminish by the time my abs are popping out (as it always has before), we will have our answer.

Itchy out.

I got my six meals of tuna and chicken in no problem, felt no hunger pangs or paid any attention to how cardio is boring. When you’re stoned, cardio is very fun. I also had a better mind-muscle connection while lifting.
Everything about that statement is true.

What bf% are you at approximately when the gyno is noticable?

I couldn’t tell you exactly because I’ve never had it tested. Ballpark low to mid teens though. Basically, about the time my lovehandle area starts to poke out to the sides of my briefs and only a couple of abs are visible.

That’s wear I am now, and I can notice it through my clothes. To tell the truth it is much more noticeable THROUGH clothes than when I’m shirtless.

The last thread he complains about not seeing gains on a Waterbury program. Now he’s discussing about pot? There are better things to think about; have you decided your training regime?

Or “If I fuck for more than 35 minutes straight will my performance decrease?” come on.

This is bullshit…

None of your symptoms have anything to do with weed smoking. It’s all your lack of dedication. If you really train hard and eat alot, you’ll make big gains no matter how much weed you smoke.

You’re just trying to justify your own lack of willpower.

Jonblood you are a fucking looser man. everything everyone has told u shuld sink in and you should begin to realize that trying to blame your stupid life’s problems on weed is a dumass thing to even try to do.

i toke trees n eat big n lift big n get shit dun everyday. p.s. have read many articles on how marijuana has no effect on hormone levels. (also cigs supposedly raise test but i dont mess around with that)

just ask thibs or someone smart

Does that mean I just need to smoke a lot of weed and my boobs won’t disappear on me?

Gynecomastia has been thought to be a complication of cannabis use, especially when it was also possible to stimulate breast tissue development in rats with THC (72).

Eleven soldiers with gynecomastia of unknown cause were matched with 11 others with similar characteristics except for gynecomastia. No difference in cannabis use was found between the two groups (27).

Such a finding does not disprove the relationship between cannabis and gynecomastia. Indeed, if cannabis increases peripheral conversion of testosterone to estrogens, then it is possible that the increased estrogens could stimulate breast tissue in a few susceptible men. Increased estrogens might also account for some reports of diminution in sexual drive or in performance in men.

Ya gonna site the study? or do you want us to take your word for it?

If pot causes gyno then I can’t fathom the amount of men that would be walking around with tits right now.

I’m done with you.
Congratulations on your two spectacular threads.
i wake up, go outside to the street, and see plenty of men with bitch tits
