Maple Syrup Strength (littlesleeper)

I just figured using the temperature that literally 95% of the world’s population uses would be sufficient.

Nutrition wasn’t great again today… My wife met me for lunch with our little guy (BBQ Brisket and a Tossed Salad) then I got home and we had homemade pizza on Naan bread. Need to reign it in a bit. Supplements just showed up, so it is time to get serious!!

I saw Stu mention this movement in another thread, so I decided to give them a try. Felt pretty good! Trying to squeak in a little arm work here and there. Doesn’t take away from the rest of my training and bigger arms will forever be a goal.

Read these as overhead rows and, for the life of me, couldn’t figure out what you were doing.

Ha, think those are called pullups

While hanging from my inversion boots! Lol yeah, I mean overhand row. I’m getting lazy with my logging!

This sounds awesome. It has to have a different resistance curve.

Long day shovelling clear stone and laying insulation for underneath my basement slab. Hoping to have concrete placed this coming week. More work to do tomorrow, but most of the heavy lifting was done today. I’m exhausted!

Count that as cardio, should have abs tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yesterday and today were more long days of the same getting my basement ready for a concrete pour. Contractor came out today and gave me the OK and booked me for Friday. Going to be bringing in a diesel heater on Thursday, but I should have a concrete floor in the basement by the weekend! Then I can get my water pressure/treatment system installed, walls studded up, and get it closed up tight. The light at the end of this very long tunnel of building my own home is finally nearing.

A buddy of mine just pointed my attention to this video, colour me impressed.

So here is what I’ve been working on.
I had to level the 3/4" clear stone throughout the basement (1440sqft) via shovel/rake. Then place 2 layers of 2" XPS (2x4’ foam insulating board) horizontally on the clear stone. Then place 1" vertical board 4+" high along the exterior walls to create a thermal break between the foundation walls and my basement slab (above and beyond building code, just for personal comfort and increased home energy efficiency). This will make it so that my basement slab is completely separate from the walls and should hold the heat of the house rather than transferring the cold temperatures from the ground into the house. Then as part of the new building code for radon gas protection, we placed a 10mm poly down with enough to overlap over the slab and tie in to my basement vapour barrier for a full gas seal.

Great work mate, every step you do is a step closer to moving into your new home and starting the next chapter with your family. Very exciting

We are very excited for this chapter to begin, the current chapter has been a LONG one!

T-ransformation2020 Update:

I’m still being fairly consistent with my diet, calories may be a tad high, but I’m eating MUCH cleaner than I have previously been. I’m going to force a low day today, as I have a little bit more work to do on the house tonight and likely won’t have time to get a workout in.

Yesterday’s weight: 218.4lbs
This morning’s weight: 218.6lbs

I’m starting to look and feel a little bit leaner. I’m expecting a 217lb scale reading is not far away.

What are you using to track calories/macros?

I’m using the Cronometer app. I’ve used MyFitnessPall in the past, but decided to try a different one (for no real reason). It is pretty good, no real preference between the two though.

Morning weight: 218.2lbs (new low - but was hoping to see 217lbs this morning, just one :poop: away)
