Maple Syrup Strength (littlesleeper)

My kids would call out on this and say it is actually Jumanji 3!! :joy::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thanks @mortdk! Training is going steady at the moment, I’m happy with it. I’ll be yelling at the TV this Sunday, hopefully GB can pull through!

@MarkKO That’s a good way to look at it! Last time I was on a supplement ā€œstackā€ was my 2017 transformation challenge, when I was by far my leanest. Worst case, they don’t work, I don’t see them hurting my goals.

@simo74 Yeah, I mean technically it is the third Jumanji, but the two new ones are definitely a whole new series. Regardless, I really liked the movies, quite a few laugh out loud moments and not many slow parts in the movie! Would recommend a watch.

I’ve been underestimating the amount of food I’ve been consuming, which I’m actually happy about.

I was worried when I started tracking that I was eating around 2500-2750cals and maintaining 220-225lbs, but it looks like I was probably closer to 3000-3200cals. These last few days that I’ve been logging I’ve been hungry a few times and I wasn’t hungry in the 8months leading up to this cut! I’m hoping that means my metabolism is revving right now and should make this cut go relatively easily while still consuming a decent amount of cals.

I plan on adding in a little bit of cardio this week to kick things up a notch. 9 weeks and 5 days until my trip to Florida which is milestone number 1.

I’ve found that walks for more than an hour a couple of times a week is great for losing weight and great for recovery. Hold a good brisk pace and enjoy the nature around you.

My wife and I have been taking the dog and stroller out once a week for a 4km walk which has been great. It depends on weather though, with the amount of snow we have now we would basically need to walk down the centre of the road, so we have stuck with shorter walks through the woods pulling the little man on a sled.
I do have access to an elliptical, so I may put a show on the tablet and do 20mins a couple mornings per week.

Thanks for popping in Mort.

Woke at 218.8lbs this morning after yesterday’s lower cal/carb intake.

It is -25C this morning (-13F) not including the wind chill.

Speed/Technique deadlifts are on the menu for tonight.

That sounds cold and horrible. It was +29C here today and I got a sun burnt neck. :sunglasses:

Nice pump.

Another one in the books.

Diet somehow flew off the rails today. Nothing bad other than a piece of homemade apple crisp, just some calorie dense foods. Need to be more careful with my breakfast, I’m putting down nearly 1200cals before 8am.

Y’all notice the Canadian was the only one polite enough to translate those temps to F???

I’m still conflicted, but I’m drifting down the path of intermittent fasting. It might be best if I shorten my eating window. But on the flip side, I can see myself using it to justify eating those tasty calorie dense foods.

Just up north here trying to please my TNation pals, eh.

I made the mistake of picking up a Costco sized brick of marble cheese and have been adding cheese to all my regular meals. That seems to have been a quick way to add 500+ cals per day…

Easy to do. One ounce is such a small amount. If I get a brick then I always cut off three slices and that ends up being around 500 cals.
