Long time reader. I found this web site while in Iraq from 2009 to 2010. It was a big help and I made huge gains over there. January 2012 I had a snowboarding crash. My left arm basically bent back far enough that it snapped like you would bust a chicken wing apart. I have had 3 surgeries over 7 months. My elbow is somewhat unstable at this time. I was advised by my surgeon to go ahead and start working out again. Start slow and go from there.
I have a brace I can wear to help with stability. I’ve looked on the web site for excercises to do that would be the easiest on my elbow. I know in the past working out I never had to consider elbow pain. Im looking to hopefully find somebody with a similar experience. I dont want to re-invent the wheel. Knowing what worked and what didnt would save me time in the gym and more injury.
I’ve lost about 25 lbs of muscle weight in the last 7 months. My Left arm has atrophied down to the size it was whem I was like 12 yrs old. Its going to be a long road recovering. Im willing to put in the hard work.
Im 39, 185#, 6’ 1"
If you need any other info, let me know.
Thank You,
Dave
