I notice that when I pulse fast, I start to feel wired, but in a good way! I get more wired later in the day, and I start to feel pretty good, but feel kinda spacey a bit as well! I have prescription sleep meds from a few years ago (Trazadone) if I absolutely cannot sleep, but usually I just go for a walk, or even a jog, and all is well…Also, the thought of waking up to some breakfast usually gets me nice and aroused - lol!
Just ordered my kit + an extra MAG-10 for 6 pulses over 3 weeks. Can’t wait to see how it works. Still debating on the timing of the pulses…

So I’m done with my first 6 weeks of my pulse fast plan, just 6 weeks to go! The pulse fasts get easier and easier. I took some progress pictures and I’m very pleased with my progress so far. I don’t think I’ll put any up here until I’m fully done with the 12 weeks though. I posted my 12 week plan a page or two back, but it’s for a body transformation contest at my local supplement store. Winner gets $500 in store shopping, which is a LOT of protein and vitamins! Haha
The only problem I have is sleep. I often wake up during the night for some reason, not really sure why. I placed an order for Z12 this morning though, and I plan on taking those on nights of the pulse fasts.[/quote]
do you have: noisy neighbors? a wife/gf that despises you and is tempted to punch you while asleep? a ghost? i kid, but Z12 should help, i also take 3-5g melatonin that stuff keeps me out for 8-9 hours straight through, occasionally more when my schedule allows it
Finishing my first pulse fast.
1st bottle: 4 scoops MAG-10, 3 scoops Power Drive, 3 capfuls of orange
2nd bottle: 4 scoops MAG-10, 1 capful of grape, 2 capful of berry (WINNER!) Reminded me of some drink I used to have.
Also had a cup of coffee with breakfast and a glass of fresh brewed ice tea for lunch.
Worst part of the day was definitely the morning and lunch time…especially watching my co-worker eat while I just sipped. Bout to down my last pulse and probably take 6mg of melatonin so I can pass out. I am pretty hungry, but it’s bearable.
Wish I knew exactly what I should eat tomorrow morning? I’m traveling and I have the lovely continental breakfast. Thank god they at least have eggs and oatmeal. Back workout tomorrow night and legs on Wednesday then another pulse fast then Chest on Friday. I think I’ll throw in another workout on Saturday too… I’m feeling the need ![]()

Lol, yes I’m in college and live in a small town house with two roommates who are always up til 2-3 a.m. I’ve got some neighbors who occasionally play their stereo with the bass up. I took 2 caps of Z-12 the other night when I first got it (to make sure I wasn’t tired when driving 11 hours to the Arnold Expo!) and I liked it. I wasn’t “knocked out” I felt tired 30 minutes after taking it, and I had no problems sleeping through the night (I usually wake up and sometimes have trouble falling back asleep).
I haven’t changed anything about my diet or training besides adding 1 MAG-10 pulse fast a week. I went from “bloated powerlifter” to having cuts and abs after a month. WTF?

And you are complaining?
Waist went from 35" to 34.25". Pretty happy about it. Don’t know weight change since no scale and really don’t care. Much leaner in the stomach/love handles area.
The most interesting measurement though is waist with my stomach sucked in. I can’t remember where I saw this or why I started doing it, but there was a reason. I usually measure about 33". This morning was 31.5"… Again not sure what it means or where I got this idea from. Anyone like to expand?
Actually not to hungry this morning. Breakfast consists of 1 cup oats with raisins, mixed fruit (melon, pineapple, orange), 3 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon. Probably should eat more than this…
Your a fucking idiot if you think I was complaining. Did you even read my other posts in this thread? Actually don’t even answer that one - I don’t care.

Being sarcastic
Slow down that testosterone haha. I guess that doesn’t come across on boards to well.
I don’t post a lot so you all don’t know my personality.

Calm down, Jack Bauer.
We get it, you’re ALPHA, bro.
Diet yesterday after the day of my first pulse fast:
Breakfast: Bowl of oatmeal w/ raisins, 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 1 cup of fruit (bout 700cals)
Snack 1: Handful of mixed nuts (bout 160 cals)
Lunch: Hamburger patty w/ cheese, veggies, 1 baked potato with 1tsp butter (bout 700 cals)
Snack 2: Cliff Bar Builders bar (20g prot/30g carbs) (270 cals)
Pre-workout: 1 scoop whey, 50g maltodextrin mixed with crystal light (300cals)
Dinner: 6" double chicken breast subway with light oil/vinegar (500 cals)
2nd day after pulse fast:
Waist came in a little smaller this morning by like 1/8". Call it measurement error. So that means I took in a lot of cals and carbs compared to before and did no cardio with no overnight rebound! Very nice. Eating like I did yesterday today with maybe some more carbs b/c it’s leg day and then Pulse Fast tomorrow.
Diet yesterday, 2 days after first pulse:
Breakfast: Bowl of oatmeal w/ raisins, 3 eggs, 1 sausage link (bout 600cals)
Snack 1: Handful of mixed nuts (bout 160 cals)
Lunch: 3 rolls of sushi (tuna, salmon, salmon w/avacado), siracha, side salad (bout 750 cals)
Snack 2: Cliff Bar Builders bar (20g prot/30g carbs) (270 cals)
Pre-workout/during workout: 1 scoop whey, 80g maltodextrin mixed with crystal light (420cals)
Dinner: 2 chicken breasts, 1/3 baked potato, broc (500 cals)
Cals are a rough estimate and could be 200-300 more or less. But still more than I was taking in.
2 things I have noticed. My energy levels have been through the roof,…like I’ve drank 10 cups of coffee the last couple of days. The other thing I have noticed is food tastes so good. I never thought a plan baked potato ever tasted so good.
Waist this morning is 34.5". So since Monday and all the carb loading, I netted a 0.5" loss.
Pulse fast 2 started today. Expectation is 34" or less tomorrow.
ZJStrope: Good progress!
PonceDeLeon: Stupid post!
Work said they’ll pay for a days worth of the Pulse Fast while I’m on the road…which I’ll be on the Road all March and Most of April…Can anyone say free?
Thats pretty damn cool!
2nd pulse done. Waist actually up a little bit… not sure what that’s about?? Kind of disapointed for not eating all day yesterday. Lifting this AM.
I know people have been asking for pictures from anyone in here (not sure why, there are too many variables to say a pulse fast is the one thing attributing to a body recomp). I’m ashamed to post this, because I need some more MASSSSSSS lol. But the pulse fasting is going well. This is my 8 week mark of doing 2 pulse fasts a week and eating 3,000 cals every other day. Simple, effective

Great results man! I’m going to be like you when I’m done. A bit undermassed, but my strength is steadily increasing! Deadlifts well over a bit of 300 and I’m still sitting at 180 I think?
I moved my log over to the V-Diet Diet Log section. Not getting any responses, but I wasn’t here either.

Here are my stats:
Start // Now
BW: 193 // 179
Deadlift: 495 // 500
Bench: 275 // 285
Squat: 325 // 315 (been on 5/3/1, haven’t tried to go heavier)
So eveerything has stayed the same or increased slightly. Good for me

What’s your diet/cardio been like?
I’m thinking of only doing the pulse fast once a week starting next week. I haven’t seen a big effect on the 2nd pulse last week.
