I’ve been searching the MAG 10 archives but have been unable to find an answer to my question: was a consensus ever reached regarding the effectiveness of taking more than one does per day? I weigh 175 at present if that’s relevant. More specifically, here’s the situation. I’ve got three bottles of MAG 10. Would I be better off doing 3 two week cycles at 1 dose per day or 2 two week cycles at 1.5 doses per day? Also is it wise to train with the GSP phase two 2 day’s during each cycle, or should I switch it up more Thanks to anyone with experience or an opinion.
Based on all the feedback and my own experiences, I think that you would be best off with 3 two-week cycles. I honestly don’t think the extra 1/2 dose is worth it at your weight.
Although results will probably differ greatly for everyone, I would say take 2 servings a day. I am done week one of my 2 serving/day Mag-10 cycle and I am up 10 pounds. I believe some of it may be water weight & my glycogen stores replenishing b/c I just came off a dieting phase, but it’s 10 pounds nonetheless.
Well, I’ll offer a different opinion. I’ve done two cycles of Mag10 and I also weigh around 175-180 at about 8% bodyfat. The first two week cycle, I took one dose of Mag10 before my a.m. workout. I made decent gains. The second time I took one dose before my a.m. workout, and one before my p.m. workout. Gains were better the second time, enough so to justify the 2nd dose to me. Everything else (i.e. training and diet) remained pretty much consistant with the 1st two week cycle.
Thanks Eric, that 3 cycles intuitively seemed best to me, but I just wanted to hear an outside opinion. Also, it just occured to me that the last part of my post might not have been so clear due to a typo. My training question was regarding the twice daily training sessions in GSP phase 2. Would three back to back cycles of this (GSP phase 3 training during the 2 ‘off’ weeks between cycles) be optimal, or should I switch it up?
From the same amount of MAG-10 (e.g. three
cycles at 1 dose per day vs. two cycles at
1.5 doses per day) you will probably get
more total results from the 1 dose per day
protocol carried out for the longer time.
It’s not unusual for 1.5 doses per day to give a little faster results, especially once substantial muscle has been added, but especially with the first couple of cycles, one dose per day usually gives excellent results, with most users not wishing they had used more.
If however after one week’s time it seems
your gains are less than you’d hoped for and your diet and training are definitely not lacking, then increasing to 1.5 doses would make sense. But I’d try the one dose protocol first.
