I’m planning out a couple of new routines as i’m writing this. I’m going ahead of myself and creating 4 phases, 3 of which are massing phases and 1 cutting. Basically i’m doing a 9 week program till MAG 10 comes out. The volume/intensity will be customized to fit my recovery needs. After that I am writing a 8 week routine for MAG 10. Since MAG 10 will assist in recovery I believe I can up the training intensity by a lot. I’m thinking along the lines of anywhere from 15-40%. Since i’ve never done any Steroids/Pro Steroids I would love to get your opinion on just how much volume/intensity can be increased during a cycle. I’m also going to include another massing routine for 8 weeks, (same length as the cycle) but without the chemical assistance, just so that my hormones have time to level, and to let my body get used to the new weight. I’m going to do this right before the cutting phase. Then I will jump straight into the cutting phase.
Also,I was thinking of using MAG 10 once again during the cutting phase. I don’t know if the 8 week break would be long enough for safety. I recall someone(Bill i think) mentioning that you should be off twice as long as you’re on! So I would have to wait 16 weeks before attempting another cycle.
On top of all that I am also making food charts, calorie calculations and everything needed for the diet part of the training.
Right now i’m at 2.0 grams of protein per pound of body weight, and will continue to do so. Once I get to MAG 10 I will raise my calories plus protein to 2.5-3.0grams per pound of body weight.
So here’s a basic summary of my questions.
1.) I’d like to have a general idea of how much volume/intensity can be increased during a MAG 10 cycle (assuming it has steroid like effects… which it does)
2.) I’d like to know if 8 weeks is a long enough wait before I could start up another MAG 10 cycle for cutting. If not should i wait 16 weeks or is there another number?
there is also the two a day article that sould be coming out pretty soon, i think chris said it was a three week program and for 1 week you workout twice a day and should eb able to gain 5 or 10 pds in that 3 weeks, but plus mag 10 and that would be some serious gains
When I did a Finasol cycle I used a modified version of German Volume training and I got great results. I averaged about 20 sets per workout x/4 workouts a week. The first two weeks of this program I took it easy going light and just getting used to the rep tempo. Each week I increased intensity. Then for the last 2 weeks I started using Finasol and went all out.
irontank- Yes, John Berardi and I have put together a program that should fit in nicely with MAG-10 usage, in fact, we modified it a bit so it works perfectly with MAG-10. There are three phases and each phase lasts two weeks. One stage involves twice per day training and that would be a good time to use MAG-10 (or Androsol)
Now, I’m no MAG-10 expert but I think you could use it for the whole six weeks and just come off with Tribex-500 or “M”.
Basically I try and do vertical pushing with vertical pulling and same for horizontal. Although I do attempt this, my body adapts quickly to specific combos, therefore I mix them up regularly.
This is nowhere near finished but it gives you an idea. The underlined blue text for Chest/back is just a hyperlink to the actual worksheet that contains the training for all 3 weeks.
If you have any comments or anything i’ll be glad to take them. Although, I did design this specifically for myself and this is what my body likes best.
i was going to say that since petty much everyone here is probably going to be doing a 6 week cycle because of the buy 2 get 1 free offer it would be great if t-mag could come up with maybe a 6 week ian king super bulking program or something like that but i guess they were allready ahead of us on that aspect of it. i know a lot of people who never would have touched juice before are now probably considering mag 10 including myself. another question though, when doing a short cycle like that should you stick with mostly basic lifts such as bench, squats, pullups, etc. even if you currently do a lot of these or would it be better to try new exercises and such to try to stimulate new growth? as far as eating goes, if i give mag10 a try i will probably just try to eat as much food as humanly possible to make sure i am gaining the most muscle i can and then follow it with a methoxy, tribex, and vitex cycle for a few weeks to maintain, and then a cutting cycle.
Being “off” twice as much as being “on”
is quite important when talking about
long term. In other words, if you’re
going to be using steroids (legal or illegal)
over the next 6 years, it’s better on
your health for the total times to
be 2 years “on,” 4 years “off” than
something much heavier.
However, in the context of short term,
there’s nothing wrong with 8 weeks on,
and 4-8 weeks off, provided that your
testicle size is regained before the
next cycle.
Thanks a lot bill, always good to hear from you. I think if i take anything along the lines of steroids/pro steroids. It would be a once or twice a year type of thing. Right now i’m fine with Mag 10, and hope to try fina in the future. I just wish MAG 10 got out a little earlier so I would have an early christmas present. But don’t rush it! It’s better for it to come out perfect than earlier
