So…I didnt see anything for newbies on the forum, so I decided to start one.
I am currently a few weeks away from beginning my first ever “cycle.” I’ve never tried anything like this before and would like a little help and/or guidance.
Is there any knowledge anyone would like to impart, for someone on their first cycle, ie. what to expect, things you wish you knew then that you know now, etc.?
I currently have a bottle of mag10, m, and Tribex, and I am in the process of purchasing more protein and shakes, as well as restocking my cupboards for the next 12 weeks, and purchasing more supps for 2-3 more cycles.
So what gives? Anyone willing to help? I’m not that good with the nutrition stuff yet, but I’m working on it. Also, I am taking pics in a few day for a starting point. Dont know my BF%, cant find a reliable way to get it. Im 5’9, 160 lbs., looking to add 10-15 pds of muscle.
I have been training for the last 6 months, 5 days a week, 3/2 split, weights/cardio.
Do yourself a favor and figure out all that “nutrition stuff” before you start. You said you have a few weeks before you start the cycle(s). That is probably enough time to learn a good amount about what and how to eat to make sure your gains are good and have a favorable ratio of muscle to fat.
I second Derek’s post. You have to eat right to make gains. No matter how hard you workout; You will not make gains unless you eat right. Read all of John Berardi’s stuff in the previous issues. ALso, you want to eat P+C every meal instead of splitting up P+C and P+F. You need insulin spikes on Mag 10 when wanting to gain weight. Feel free to ask more questions.
Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah, I posted without doing a FULL search. Sorry. Newbie-itis. Just got so damn EXCITED when I found this board! I actually put off my first cycle for a month or so. Trying to catch up with all the info on this site. DAMN MY EYES HURT!!!
