Has anyone experienced this? Its my second night on, and I’m pretty sure i can’t fall asleep because of the mag-10. I seldom have trouble falling alseep.
Does anyone know if I can take an Ambien or the such with it without messing with anything?
I’d personally try to avoid ambien. With that being said, do you train earlier in the day or right near the time you go to sleep? Have you tried ZMA? Another suggestion which would only apply if you aren’t a fatty is to eat a large amount of simple carb+some protein before you go to sleep, tends to make me groggy. Trytophan might help also and lately I thing I’ve been seening it advertised by prosource.
Trying, you may need to experiment. Along with Wide’s excellent suggestions, try L-Theanine and/or melatonin. Dosing on melatonin is highly individual. You need to experiment, increasing the dosage until you find something that works for you. If you wake up groggy, go back down to the prior night’s dosage.
It’s usually not a problem after a few days on Mag10. It disrupts my sleep patterns for 3-5 days at first. I get better sleep on or off Mag10 with a magnesium supplement though.
I am currently using Ambien to help me sleep. (getting divorced, and having a hard time) Do not get on it. I am trying to ween myself off it because now I can not sleep without it and I still keep waking up from bad dreams about the x about 3 hours after falling asleep. Trying reading a book while in bed or something to relax you. If you very active right before bed your body might have a hard time “calming down” and going to sleep.
Tryin–I’m on my second cycle and haven’t experienced this at all.
“Babies don’t sleep this good.”
Look for other factors, as I think I’ve read the opposite about side effects with mag 10–it MAKES you sleepy.
Oh yeah to quote a wisest man of the Wu-tang clan Bobby Digital.
“The only thing that keeps a -igga calm is a good fuck.”
BTW if you aren’t getting any there’s nothing wrong with spanking, just ask the guys on this forum who go to Penn. state…some strong grips on those boys.
bump on not using ambian. It is extremely hard to get off of and when I take it unless I get at least 10 hrs of sleep I feel like a walking zombie, I am jsut spaced out all day.
Not really sure if it makes a diff but when I was taking Mag10, I would take it first thing in the morning and a little bit before my evening workout. I never had problems sleeping on it.
