MadTitan is Sick...

Mad Titan, you are truly an inspiration. wow…great work.

I read earlier you do Tabata’s occasionally but do you do “regular” cardio? When/how long?

Have you had any trouble with injuries, and how did you work around them, rehab them and stay mentally strong enough to continue what you are doing.

Very impressive work.

It’s awesome how those 315 front squats look like 135.

This is a brief synopsis of my leg work out. I work Legs 3 times a week. The first part of the week is a heavy day comprised with a lot of sets. Later in the week I do lighter loads since my diet is altered to deplete glycogen to oxidize stubborn fat optimally. Don’t forget to vote for me for the iron man spokes model contest

Grateful for the votes so far!! Thanks!

Cracked up at the start with you on Leg Press and there’s the guy on another Leg Press in the background with like 90lbs trying to go real hardout, was probably thinking the old “Well that tank’s doing heavy weight for reps, so if I do my light weight for heaps of reps it counts as the same” :stuck_out_tongue:

But honestly Mad Titan, you are a beast, a tank, a machine, don’t even know if there’s enough words to describe it, gives all us young ones something to aspire to and hope we achieve even half of what you have.
(I’m 17 btw, that’s what I meant by young ones haha).
Shows what can be achieved with hard work and the right approach to things, keep it up man, might have to watch out for me in a couple years haha, kidding :stuck_out_tongue:

I voted.

Absolutely amazing… inspiring to say the least… flat out you’re simply a beast!

Stellar genetics, but of course… however your hard work, discipline, and dedication are all blatantly apparent… without a doubt! You have surely paid your dues in blood, sweat, and tears…

You reek of confidence and self-edification… you are definitely walking tall sir!

BTW: That Hans Zimmer tune is perfect for your slide show… damn!

Grateful for the votes so far. You can vote everyday until the 30th. Incidentally part of the philosophy on my training has come from reading articles on this site. My nutrition philosophies was molded by Alan Aragon

@ Chushin and Ari Thanks! remember you can vote everyday!

@ Nowheyout 20

@dnlcdstn I will upload one this week

@Tk52 I started mixing both of them in before the last two competition. This is because of what I have found through research of the advantages of both.

@Ben

Wow glad you bumped this as I missed it the first time. Truly amazing. In my eyes you’re in the top 3 physiques on this site for sure, possible number 1. I really enjoyed that leg video, if your site was full of content like that and how-tos and such, I’d be there. I have 2 questions:

  1. What’s your height, it might say in your hub but I’m getting a stupid gateway 504 error when I try to see it.
  2. How frequently and what type of cardio training do you do? I saw you mentioned Farmer’s Walks but that’s all.

Thanks, and voted!

Voted.

Nice work dude!

I'm 5'9 @ 180

I do cardio during contests prep a combo of HIT and steady state on the same day /same time block w/ hit comprising 10 mins, steady state the 30 mins . Ordinarily I just minimize my rest time between compound movements for instance ----> supersetting between chins and standing barbell shoulder press .

MT: Dude you hit me with silence! lol

Thanks for the response MadTitan, definitely inspirational at the same height as me. Did you ever bulk up higher than 180 to pack on all that muscle at some point in your career?

@ Ben lol you know I typed in a long response to that I don’t know why it didn’t show up? Originally I said yeah I have dealt with injuries but not that often. When I do encounter them I keep on going BUT I reduce weight depending how bad it is and increase reps to have more blood flow so nutrients can be delivered to the problem area. I tend to injure myself when I try to do that one last reps even though I’m exhausted. This means the injure results from a compromised form. So nowadays I forced myself out of that habit (at least 50 percent of the time) so that I can live to lift another day.

@ Deat Thanks for the vote man, keep 'em coming you can vote everyday

@ Enders I did a little only 185. So this generally means I did what is considered “slow bulk” you gain mostly muslce with little fat so when you cut its doesn’t take that long

Very inspirational. Great work, and thanks for taking this time.

What did you do for your chest development? I have superset chest workouts twice a week and I manage to get my bench max up to 430 lbs, and while my chest is wide, I would like to add more thickness.

Here are the results so far for the rankings. I’m NO 24. I just need to make it to top 20 to make it to the semifinal where its left in the judges hand and no more voting. Grateful for the votes so far!!! I moved from up from 29!!! Please keep voting everyday.
