Made Fun of For Eating Healthy?

I was wondering if the same happens to anyone else:

  • You’re eating something healthy and all your friends get a bunch fried food and call you a pussy for not getting something like that.

  • Or right after you order something healthy they all start laughing and making fun of you.

For example, I was at eat-n-park, a local restaurant, last night and everyone orders before me. They get 2 burgers, steak hoagie, fries, mashed potatoes, and cheese sticks. I then order to the waiter 2 rosemary chicken breasts with green beans. They all began to laugh and then even the gay waiter says something.

He said: “So your friends ordered something that you eat and go to a bar to watch football after and you ordered something along the lines of eating then going to clean/organize your room after.” It actually kind of pissed me off just because it is getting old and annoying, but it also just motivates me more.

It seems like today if you eat healthy food then you are a not being a man and if you get a bunch of fried big ass burgers or w/e then you’re being manly. It kind of reminded me of that article I read a couple days ago about manly traits and also reminded me of those burger king commercials.

How about you guys?

People give me greif about the way I eat all the time, some people laugh about the 3-5 meals I eat at work others call me a food Nazi. Just gotta blow it off, the results will speak for you. When your friends are all fat, you’re jacked and getting more ass than a gas station toilet, then you can laugh at them.

Eat’n Park has food outside of the buffet?

  1. You should have punched that waiter in the fucking face, right then and there. Then, your friends would never talk shit to you about eating healthy.

  2. Don’t let it get to your head man. If your friends are TRUE friends, they ARE going to give you shit every now and then for eating healthy, it’s just how friends act man. Even today, I went out to eat with 3 friends, and instead of getting a burger and fries, I got 2 big ass half-pound burgers instead. I told my friends, “No fries for me… carbs…”.

They know what my deal is, so all they said is in a joking manner, “Wow, I’ve never seen anyone do that before.” Ok so I ordered burgers and not chicken breasts but you get the fucking point.

  1. But really this is all it comes down to: if your friends are calling you a PUSSY and laughing at you all the time about this, are they really your friends? The only people that do that to me are 3 friends (and my brother) and that is every now and then, and they just make a comment and don’t continue on with it, and that’s it. It doesn’t bug me because I fucking grew up with them and they are like my brothers.

  2. I’m just rambling and I’m surprised you’ve read this far, congratuations.

Haha pussy?

Just act a little rough when they call you a pussy, knock them around a little in a joking manner. I would say something like “who’s a pussy motherfucker?” while you check his ass. If you’re not big enough to do this then you prob shouldn’t have got the chicken. As for the waiter, you should have just left him a really shitty tip if at all. Next time he will think twice before insulting his customer.

I’m not really sure about your friends, but my friends, we always rip on eachother. It’s just funny so don’t take it personally. If they really do think you’re a pussy tho you need to prove otherwise or find new friends because I don’t think eating “manly” food will solve that problem.

lol. if a random person called me pussy for my food selection at a resturant i would of shoved them to the ground and then gone somewhere else to eat.

and you gotta say something catchy to like ‘how bout i eat your FACE for dinner’ BAM!!!

seriously though, i really don’t see why your friends are making fun of you for what you get to eat.

unless of course you’re like 5’8 and 140lbs and obviously don’t really need to eat all that weird

Same here, I’m not that build myself but I got no issues with my mates apart from the very casual comment. All in all they’re happy, it means more booze&food for them in general.

As far as the waiter is concerned the no tip thing would be the very least, but avoid making a scene when you order if you intend to stay, having spit in your meal must suck.

HM, your video in the former “i’m bullied thread” just came back to my mind, with a skinny waiter instead of your fellow cadet :p.

You do what you do because it’s what you want. Just let it roll off your back and don’t feel the need to get into any pissing contests or macho bullshit just to prove your a man.

The waiter was being an idiot.

But as far as your friends? They’re your friends man, who cares. I make fun of my friends all the time, and they do the same to me.

Let’s see who will be laughing in 5 years.

you really are a pussy. eat some beef.

nah … just get used to it
i was made fun off in front and behind my back because of my food choices.

This.
If you’re substantially more muscled than all your friends they probably won’t give you shit for eating like that.
If you aren’t, maybe you should consider a burger now and again.

To Pussy or not to pussy is the question?

Are you a pussy for eating healthy, or a pussy for caring when people make fun of you?

They’re are your friends, they are supposed to joke on you and laugh about shit. If it bothers you that much get mad and yell one day, then they will laugh about something else you do. And you can cry over that.

You should have done this to the waiter:

I used to get made fun of too for how obsessed I was about diet and exercise. Now I’m 200 lbs and my buddies are jealous of how “jacked” I am (even though I’m far from considering myself jacked). So basically just keep doing what you’re doing and when the results start to show the comments will stop.

Yea man … shrug it off … If your physique isn’t anything to laugh at I would said, “Well look at me and look at you … obviously I’m making the right decisions” or something like that to my friends … As for the waiter, maybe something along the lines of: “Did the dick fall out of your mouth long enough for you to speak? You should really insert it again, you’re talking jibberish” either that or don’t leave a tip … money talks son, money talks.

Personally, I don’t think this is something really pressing … maybe you’re young, but this type of shit doesn’t really phase me … my friends say shit to me all the time when I don’t want to go out drinking on a Friday or Saturday night because I’m waking up early to push the prowler or have a heavy squat day …

Whatever you do, don’t give into the peer pressure, you made your choice for a reason, they made their choice because they’re afraid of being made fun of (like they did you) … so let your balls drop son, let it roll off your back and enjoy your rosemary chicken and green beans (cutting are we?)

The more you show it doesn’t bother you or affect your decision making the less it happens … that and having an arsenal of witty quips and retorts always helps too … or you could always fuck their sisters … that’ll teach em

You might also want to think about who your surrounding yourself with. True friends are there to support you in every facet of life.

No – my friends know I would kick their weak ass. You may eat healthy but it seems like you are a mental pussy.
