I, over the last couple years, have established a decent Pandora station. It is really worth the investment if you listen a lot because they pick stuff you end up liking if you put the effort in to up and down vote things you like.
Mine ends up being a good mix of classic hip-hop, some r&b and some modern pop stuff too.
I have a metal and a “mood” station too.
I recently listened to Jay-z’s Pandora station on the way back from NYC and it was pretty decent to be honest. COuld have used some more variety but it was pretty good.
I agree with this. It’s a great way of getting music. I’ve got The Roots station going right now.

Good to see Pandora mentioned. I hate radio. If I mention a new artist, chances are, whatever track is getting most play ion the radio isn’t what made me a fan.
make The Money and Victory Lap are two of the tracks I like most from The Heist cd. Thrift shop is probably getting the most rotation though…which is not his best work.
I just downloaded N.O.R.E’s cd, LL Cool J’s new one and some new artist named Rittz. I will see what I like from them…but radio won’t have anything to do with my opinion.
MGK has some good stuff too. Most of todays hip hop is fucking awful. Someone like Kendrick Lamar stands out 'cause he’s at the top of the shit pile. In reality, he’s mediocre at best.

When i bought my truck late last summer i got free satellite radio for like 6 months or something. WHen that expired i wasnt gonna bother to renew because, as i said, im not much of a radio guy. Instead i was using Pandora for a while and i found it to be hit or miss. However, streaming pandora through the blue tooth in my truck was killing my data usage so i cut that out and decided to pay for the satellite radio again. Cant say i like it any better than Pandora but at least its more consistent.

man I wish, I’ve never been to a festival like that. It was actually a month and a half ago at MSU

Hey, I’m a student at MSU. Small world.

Is it just me or does macklemore make a lot of breathy type sounds with his mouth? It aggravates me
I liked thrift shop at first…but every other song of his shows that he can’t actually rhyme…and without rhyming It just sounds like an angry poet.
I don’t get how some people can become so popular with music that seemingly anyone could…“just yell into the mic like you mean it and Tell us about how you grew up”
First, I don’t even listen to radio…so my guess is that one song is getting overly played.
That is not one of the ones I even like off his cd. Make the money is better than that.
My advice would be to listen to radio way less. I seriously doubt the radio is doing anything but playing whatever gets them the most marketing.
I AM stuck listening to the radio, I haven’t bought an iPhone adapter for my car yet…
Aside from that, my gf really likes macklemore and she has shown me a few other songs of his from the album, more of the same…,.sounds like he trying too hard on delivery and it’s hard to hear what he’s saying cause it’s all just words Spewing out of his mouth with no flow or direction, it’s annoying to me. And I honestly think that it would be easy toast millions when I hear stuff like this. When I would hear someone like nas, I wouldn’t feel that way at all.

Yeah, he can rap his ass off no doubt. Heard any Yelawolf? He might be the most talented new rapper out now 'cause he can hit you with so many different styles, and sound good at all of 'em.
Some more MGK for ya Beans-
