207 today, fuck! Going to keep up with the 2 gallons again today, then drop it to 1 tomorrow, and probably go to the rec center to make use of their sauna for a little while and see where I’m at come Friday morning. I might skip out on work early tomorrow to make a last ditch effort in the sauna before I drive out to the weigh ins. I have a feeling this one’s going to be pretty damn close, and hard in comparison to my last one.

Last night, did 10 sets of 1 @ 30% on the 3 lifts, which despite being stupid light…felt awesome. My setup and technique (I feel) is perfect FOR ME. It may not be completely textbook, but I felt perfect doing everything, even benching. I think the trick, FOR ME, is to get my feet on the bench and dig my trapples into the bench. Then put one foot down and away from the bench, then the other, squeeze the glutes, and go. Some people put their feet under them and under the bench, but I can’t. I’m not stable enough, and my ass wants to fly up easily. With my feet out in front, my legs can’t drive my ass up and into red light land.
I think I got shit locked down, so we’ll see how it goes.
I’m planning on hitting PR’s of sorts on second attempts, and going for broke on the 3rd. I’ve done a meet before, know what it’s like to leave pounds on the platform (like my DL), and it’s not happening this time.
Since I’ve hit a 300 and 310 squat in the gym, but I would say an inch high, I’ll probably open around 260, then 300ish (it’ll be kg plates, so I forget the #s) and then 320 on the 3rd?
Bench, I HAVE to hit a 250, since that eluded me twice last time, so maybe 230/250/275 ish?
Deads, open 390, 430, 450 (would be a 25#PR) but why the fuck not?
As far as weight classes…shit, I was @ 207 again today, but today’s my “reduce water to 1 gallon and cut all sodium, quit drinking @ 5” day, so we’ll see how it goes and I’ll probably sleep in the sauna later and see where I’m at tomorrow morning. Couple pounds off, I’ll go for it, if not…fuck it, I’m eating all day.
Foam rolled/PVC rolled last night, I’ve got a tightness in my right hip flexor, bad. Hope it passes through beating it with more PVC tonight, because it’s annoying as hell

I’ve decided that there won’t be a close/too heavy weigh in. I’m heading into sweat-ville tonight, so I can be all set by morning and chill at work until its time to weigh in tomorrow night. I should be fine, as I’ve gone down another pound today, so I’ve got 8 to go.

To regain all that water weight try gatorade with a good bit of salt addded to it. I read that stormthebeach says it works great getting a good bloat on.
