True words. About the moms that is. Sometimes words just are never enough to express how much I love my mommy… and her cooking too =P
Also, you got your wife to push the prowler?! One helluva wife! Does she ever lift with you or anything? And if so got any tips on convincing my gf to lift with me? The most I’ve gotten her to do is wear a badass elitefts squat tshirt

Yeah I finally got her out to push the prowler. We brought our girls out too and I even got my 4 year old to push the unloaded E-Prowler a bit, all by herself! I took a vid, I’ll try and load it up, because it’s awesome. My wife is starting to get into lifting, but with running being her main priority right now, I get her to lift whenever she is up for it. She’s got another half marathon coming up in Sept and she hasn’t been training for it, so that’s where her focus is right now. As for tips to get your GF training with you? Just keep asking if she wants to tag a long and just “mess around” a bit with some weights. Don’t pressure her or be annoying about it, because that’ll just annoy her. If she wants to lift, she’ll do it.
Man, I ATE this weekend, 220lb class is right around the corner if I keep this up, haha! Took the mother of my beautiful girls out to dinner last night, and I ate some wild boar lasagna…WINNING! Shit was fantastico! Mrs. Ink had the Hawaiian grey snapper, which was also super bomb! Hoping to hit the gym tonight with a super-volume whore amount of DE Upper work, if I can break away from the 3525 loads of laundry we need to do, and all the other “housey” stuff that didn’t get done this (super busy) weekend.
22 days until I leave for Africa. I’ve got another funny line to write on a couple of rounds of ammo, but I’ll save it for a little closer to my trip.
LWI amigos.
Took a break from riding her bike, and pushed the (65#) E-Prowler about 10yds.
She weighs 45#.

LOL! That’s awesome!! Kids are freakishly strong, aren’t they?
Its cool that she has you to show her that its ok for girls to push prowlers and lift weights and stuff. Now she won’t have to learn to push passed the point of discomfort like some chicks.
Wild boar lasagna? You mtherfckingbast8rd! I want!!!

“Hey hon, you wanna come try this?”
“YEEAHH!” *hops off bike and runs over…RAAAWWRRRR!
And re: “It’s ok the be awesome” as a girl…the slogan on a lot of t-shirts at her gymnastics gym is “Strong Is Beautiful” and I think it’s sending an awesome message out to young girls that yes, it IS beautiful to be strong, so DO IT!
And yeah, that lasagna was THE TITS!! I ate so much, it’s rediculous, and holy shit would I get that again and again!
Did you have Bren push the prowler too? ![]()
Ry is too adorable. Love that video!
Court, Bren tried to move it, it was cute. I also tried to get her to sit still on it so I could push her, but she wasn’t having it!
girl POWER!!!
love the vid…
We’re getting ready to go have tire flipping races! ![]()

pretty sure you just gave me the best tool to get my gf to start lifting with me: she is a SUCKER for ridiculously cute things.
Cute kid… and strong. Gonna have her doing farmer walks next?=P
Dude ink that is awesome. Keep up the good work brother. LWI
Thanks guys, she’s a little badass sometimes. And she’s only 4! (Well, she’ll be 5 in a few weeks, but still) Last night she was working on her handstands against the wall. Tough little chick!
Made it to the gym last night, and what I was dreading soon became awesome. I had thought that my iPod was lost. I thought it fell out of my gym bag the last time at the gym, when I put it in the car. I searched everywhere in the car last night, before heading in, and came up with nothing. Great, wife’s going to be pissed about this one! Well, I go in and figure I’ll ask the front desk just in case, “Not up here, but go check the towel desk”. Fuck. Ok…
Me: “Excuse me Mr Towel Folder Man, has anyone turned in a black iPod nano, in a black soft case, recently?”.
Towel Boy: "Lemme check over here…unlocks file cabinet…“this one?”
Me: “Oh shit! Wait…no…no that’s not it, shit.”
Towel Boy: dig dig dig “This?”
Me: “I…wait…yes…searches albums YES! Awesome, thanks!”
TB: “No problem” fold fold fold
So I was immediately looking forward to training, hooray for that, because I was tired as shit and not feelin it!
DE Upper
BB Bench (straight weight)
95 x 3 x 3
115 x 3 x 3
135 x 3 x 3
*Form tight, solid, fast
Incline DB Bench *Fairly steep incline, maybe 60deg?
50 x 12
60 x 12
70 x 12
*Haven’t done these in ages, so I’ll just call it a PR so I know where to work from.
Skull Crushers
75 x 10/8/6
Rope Pressdowns
100 x 12/11/12
Hang Cleans
135 x 5
155 x 3/2
*Ugly. I don’t really drop down to “catch” it, I just fling it up and wrestle it into place at the top. Meh, it works
Face Pulls
4x15
Meadows Rows (without straps, so went lighter)
3x12
DB Curls
3x12
Pinwheels (leaning away from a rack, more isolation, more pain)
3x12
Thought about doing abs at one point, but it was late and I think I did enough to justify not doing ab work last night. I’ll do it next time.
LWI
thats so awesome that you had your girl pushing the prowler! Also i’m glad to see she was wearing a helmet… safety first ya know ![]()
Those rounds are sick! You’ll have to make sure you dont miss with those and waste em!
Ipod in the Lost N Found FTW!!! Thats great that someone didnt swoop it up… you must have some honest fellow gym goers out there

this is what I say about abs every day lol. So boring
Haha Greg, she didn’t even take the time to take off her helmet (or she knew she might need it), crazy kid.
Those rounds are fucking BADASS is what they are, not cheap either, and I won’t be wasting them at all. I’m not taking shots I’m not 100% confortable with. I’d rather NOT chase wounded game. 1 shot, 1 kill, toss that fucker on the grill! HAHA!
I was really lucky to have my ipod not have been jacked. And shit, when the dude showed me the first one he pulled out, I could have said “Oh yeah, that’s it” and he’d have let me walk out with it. I’m not shady though.
Thats so awesome watching your daughter push that prowler like nothing and enjoying doing so! Training has been looking awesome as of late ink! Great that your ipod was turned in, guess there is still some honest people in the world hey?
