Hey guys, I have a couple of questions on the Luke Sauder Calf Routine.
On day 1 the High-Volume day, for excercise A1 Seated Calf Raises do you do one set of ten then proceed to excercise A2) Donkey Calf Raises then go back to A1 and do a set of five reps and back to A2 and then back to A1 and back to A2 again? Run on sentence I know! In other words do you perform 20 reps total for excercise A1, or do you do 20 reps each set doing 10 then 5 then 5 again before proceeding to A2?
Also, on the Low-Volume day where there is only one excercise the Triple Drop Standing Calf Raises, where you do 3 X 10-10-10 (in other words, three drop sets) at a 121 tempo, resting 90 seconds between sets. Is this three sets of 10 with 90 seconds rest in between for a total of 30 reps after all three sets are done? Or is it you do 10 reps, take no rest, drop the weight, do another 10, no rest, drop the weight, and do another 10 for each set? Doing this three times total for a total of 90 reps, 30 reps each set? Thanks for any help you guys can offer me.
Chris, you do 10-5-5 of A1, then proceed to A2. For the Low-Volume day, you do the triple drop, rest for 90 seconds, then do another triple drop, rest for 90 seconds, etc. Hope this helps, and hope you can walk for the remainder of the week!
OK thanks guys.
But I’m still confused on the first one. Is it 10-5-5 all three times (sets) for A1 and then A2 or is it 10 then A2, 5 then A2, 5 then A2. Thanks.
