Fascinating. First of all the pro poker players don’t always enter the tournaments. The odds of winning are so slim that it really is not a good bet.

Its going o take quite abit to win,tourneys are tuff.I’ve been in huge tourneys where I was so close to victory I could taste it,then POW!runrrunr and the guy gets luckier than he’s ever been in his life to beat me.I’m not superhuman out there,great players get caught bluffing all the time.It happens,the thing is I’m good enough to win it all if everything goes smoothly.I got the seat for 100 bucks so I don’t have much to lose,unlike everyone else who pays 10k to get in.When I play poker its like poetry,wether I get good cards or not I CREATE the image that I’m on fire like never before.I really just want to place in the money to pay for my seat next year,if I win 10k I’ll pay for it right there.I’m going to be a world champion in the next five years and that I can guarantee.Poker has been the love of my life since I was a kid,I don’t want to do anything else in my life.Work isn’t for me,I didn’t grow up thinking I wanted to be this orthat,I wanted to be a professional hold em player.Now that I’m off probation I can pursue it to the fullest,I’ve been playing along time for these days coming up and I’m rollin into that tourney to ragdoll someones candy ass wether you guys like it or not.I’m leaving on wednesday so wish me luck,b/c an ounce of luck can be better than a pound of skill.Take care of yourselves and if I get a chance to use a compute I’ll let ya know how its going.

Why bother with poker? Hell, you can become a professional wrestler, the big reefer, and smoke all the competition with your patented ragdoll maneuver. Wouldn’t that be more fun.

You can have your mean g unit, whatever the hell that is, out in the fans beating on any fans that cheer for your opponent instead.

He sent me one for a fairly innocuous joke (so I thought) about being a “legend.” I say we just leave him alone and move on to better threads. The guy (kid is more appropriate) seems to have some real social disorders and we’re probably making it worse for the first little guy or girl he’s going to ragdoll on when something doesn’t go his way.

If he’d slow down on the bragging, take control of his life, and pay attention to his surroundings, he’d perhaps see he’s stumbled across a repository of role models.

Just in case he’s going to follow along, or some other young crazy fool will, I’ll explain a little.

This site is filled with men who are working to better themselves. With years of dedication and consistent hard work, they are able to achieve their goals. They do this by reading and learning everything they can and then applying this information in their lives when and where appropriate.

[I don’t intend to be sexist, but I’m going to refer to men in the following, as this person probably requires some good male role models.]

You will see examples of men standing up for their beliefs under the onslaught of laughter and ridicule (just visit the politics forums). You will see some shrug off such events and you will see others buckle.

You will see essays on the meaning of being a man in todays society (read the editorial material and the archives).

You will see men make transformations of their lives and themselves (visit the physique pics).

You will see men trying to relate to women, getting all kinds of horrible advice, and some pearls of wisdom (see the sex and or t-vixen forums).

You will see men making very embarrassing mistakes with their comments and responses. You will see them get called out for inappropriate behavior. You will see how various people handle it.

You will see people overcoming injuries, setbacks, career problems, health problems, family problems and anything else that can go wrong. You will see them under pressure and learn of their character by how they respond to it.

If you want to pay attention and pick the pearls from the mud, you can learn an awful lot about character, determination and consideration in these parts. You will see both good and bad and if you want, you can learn from it all.

It’s particularly easy to do, because everything you see is discussed, analyzed and criticized in minute detail. You just have to realize what it is that you are looking at.

Is it easy? No. Is it worth it? Yes. Alternately, you can simply post some crap and frivolously waste your time here… on the site and on the planet.
