Low Test After PCT, Suggestions

Hi all,
It’s my first post on this forum and I need to ask for Your help. This topic is a little complicated cause of my Hypothyroidism but let’s start from the beginning.

About 2 years ago I decided to start a testosterone cycle, I went to take a blood test and found that I have high prolactin, so after speaking with the doc I lowered it using Dostinex and started test cycle

I was on prop solo cycle for 16 months, unfortunately, used HCG only once during the cycle: ( Then I have done PCT ( 20 000UJ HCG + 5 weeks Clomid - PoWer PCT ) During PCT I found out that I still have high prolactin and that its caused by Hypothyroidism which I didn’t know about before ( I started to take T4 hormone). Now I’m about a month after taking Clomid and my testosterone is too low, I feel like shit : ( Below are my blood tests.

Before cycle:
Testosterone - 712 ng/dl (249-836)
LH - 7,13 mIU/ml (1,70 - 8,60)
FSH - 4,67 mIU/ml (1,50 - 12,40)
E2 - 33,50 pg/nl (11-30,43,20)
Prolactin - 27,48 ng/ml ( 4,04 - 15,20)
After PCT:
Testosterone - 317 ng/dl (249-836)
LH - 5,4 mIU/ml (1,70 - 8,60)
FSH - 4,9 mIU/ml (1,50 - 12,40)
E2 - 17,9 pg/nl (11-30,43,20)
Prolactin - 25,36 ng/ml ( 4,04 - 15,20)

As You see everything seems ok but not testosterone, my question is whats should I do now:

  • Do pct one more time ?
  • Do small cycle till t4 will fix my thyroid and prolactin level and then do pct ?
  • TRT - I’d love to avoid this option as an endocrinologist in my country doesn’t even know that there is something like this, we are like 15 years behind You guys.

Thanks in advance for any help suggestions etc.

How much Test Prop did you use for almost a year and a half?

How did you find out your high prolactin was caused by your thyroid?

What were your thyroid levels? What are your current thyroid levels?

How many minutes of reading did you do to come up with this plan?

1. How much Test Prop did you use for almost a year and a half? - 300 mg per week
2. How did you find out your high prolactin was caused by your thyroid?
Before cycle it was high (27,48 ng/ml ) endo prescribed me Dostinex and it went to 4ng/ml. Than before pct, I check it one more time and it was again 27 so I started to read what can be caused and found that it might be thyroid. So I went to check TSH, T4, T3
3. What were your thyroid levels? What are your current thyroid levels?
Before I only checked TSH - 2,280 uIU/mL
Now:
FT4 - 1,13 ng/dl ( 0,93 - 1,71 )
TSH - 5,04 uIU/mL (0,27 - 4,2)
FT3 - 4,33 pg/ml ( 2,02 - 4,43)
Is there any correlation between t-cycle and thyroid, can steroid cause Hypothyroidism?
4. How many minutes of reading did you do to come up with this plan?
Which part exactly? cycle or pct? I planned only 12-16 week but then a few guys on gym told me that if I plan the next cycle then don’t go off as it the worst part. And about pct - as I mentioned there is not as much info about those topics where I live so this PCT protocol seemed most reasonable.
I just found here there is some Test taper protocol, I wish I thought about getting knowledge from forums like this before.

So do You have any suggestions, what can I do now?

Another pct isn’t going to make much difference. You recovered function perfectly fine. That’s all pct does. It worked. But after 16 months on cycle you kind of had to know that getting back to your previous baseline was not likely, or at the very least not guaranteed.

How old are you? Age plays a part in recovery.

I would not try this. There is evidence that as little as 25 mg/wk will cause shut down.

Thanks for the answer, so for now I will be patient and try to see what levels will I get next month till then I will supplement Zinc and maybe add some booster. During this month I will settle down my thyroid hormones and reduce my prolactin. I hope it will go up a little. I’m only nervous that I will lose all my gains ;(

Thanks for advice, im not going to try it now. I also wouldn’t ever touch Masteron as I already have hair issues .

I would get Reverse T3 checked. Your FT3 is very high (good) but RT3 could also be high giving you hypo symptoms anyway. I would get that checked. Here’s what a full thyroid panel checks for:

Google stopthethyroidmadness and go to their site. It will tell you everything you need to know about thyroid.
