Low T, starting first cycle and going to TRT

Hey Guys,

30M, been strength training on and off for a couple years. Have made slow progress but never stayed consistent (6-8 months and then get injured non-lifting related). I recently got my test levels checked and they came back at a whopping 130L. I plan to blast a 12 week cycle of 500 Test C (that I started this week), and then cruise at a TRT dose (looking for recommendations on how to choose this for post blast.

I have a moderate amount of muscle that is unfortunately covered by fat mostly carrying a pot belly and upper chest area. I would estimate in the 25% range.

I plan to run Candito 6-week bench for two cycles during this (have had good results on a slight cut from this in the past). I also may toy with the idea of finishing up the cycle with some anavar at the end.

I’ll update weekly from both physical and mental stats. As far as a diet I plan to run at a slight cut (aiming for recomp while maintaining strength) at 2500 calories and will adjust as needed. I do not plan to do much cardio as I bartend 12 hour shifts 4-5 days a week and ski multiple days a week. Posting to share for anyone to add advice or provide motivation if this goes well.

211 pounds
6 feet

Bench 225
Squat 265
Deadlift 415

orrrrrrrrr you lose weight on a TRT dose AND THEN you blast on 500mg Test to make some gainz

at your BF % you’re gonna get 5 weeks into your cycle, be tired of eating, still hate the way you look in the mirror, and either 1) bail or 2) crash diet and waste 500mg of Test weekly.

I’ve been where you are. cut first, then bulk.

And 22%bf.
Not a good idea. Get down closer to 12%.
Take some time to get your trt dialed in and drop some fat and then think about doing more.

Don’t cut on steroids unless you’re a stage competitor. They are for growth. Get in shape, pay a trainer, find a balance in TRT firsts. All better choices

This is a joke right ? You’re supposed to be in better shape before starting roids . Blood pressure goes up and also you will gain water weight with that much test already. Plus you get a lot of gains just from 200 test . Start low and go up. Like wtf.

If you went from a test level of 130. To a TRT level of lets say 900. You could have made all the gains in the world for a year straight. No blast needed!
