Low T and Low E2

Anyone with knowledge on this, please chime in. I’m 27, 230lbs, 5’9", prob around 15 or 16% body fat. I’ve been working out since i was 15 with a few years off traditional weight lifting from 06’ to April 09’ because i was boxing and my coach wouldn’t allow it. Any way, I always make fairly good gains when i lift but have started noticing a lot of the symptoms of low T. So i went to the doc back at the end of Jan.

Here’s what came back:
Serum testosterone 303 ng/dl on a 280-800 normal scale
TSH 2.39 uIU/ml on a .45-4.500 scale
Estradiol <3 pg/ml on a 3-70 scale

I guess what I’m asking is, should i still have symptoms from the low T even if E is so low?
Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

We sometimes have lower T and E. In this case, I suspect that it is a lab error. Repeat the E2 lab work.

What was the lab company?

You need more T, even with low E. However, if E is really that low, you would feel terrible just from that.

Where do you carry the fat that you have. Where can you not loose fat. Any aching joints?

Thanks KSman,
The Lab company was LabCorp. Fat is the worst on the sides and lower abdomen. But at my body fat i would i really shouldn’t say that i can’t lose it in any one place, because just dropping 5% bf would be a dramatic change in my body comp. I have pains in my wrists, elbows, neck, and lower back. It’s not persistent though except my neck and back. I just associated that with poor form, not that I’m lazy, but like I said it’s worse after my heavy days.

I have an appointment with a Urologist tomorrow for a consult for vasectomy. Kinda freaked out about, but I’ve got 4 kids and can’t afford another one. Anyway, i will talk to him about more lab work.

KSman,

Even with all the symptoms i have, i still somehow make gains in the gym, slowly but regular. is that normal with low T?
