Low Carb Milk?

Chris Shugart recommends low carb milk (Calorie Countdown). In fact, on last weeks article here on T-Nation it was mentioned.

I looked on-line and can’t locate this product. Any luck? I live in California and no one carries it. I’m thinking of using Soy Milk. Even though I’m not a fan of soy, I’m thinking as long as I don’t dring a lot of it, I’ll be ok.

However, no luck finding Low carb milk.

If it’s such a problem then drink some water.

I agree. I don’t know much about low carb milk but it sounds too artificial to me.

go to the service desk and request it.

The Giant by me carries it, I buy the chocolate version for some of my shakes

Walmart, Kroger

are two I know of. I thought Walmart had broken every geography’s cherry?

Ignore everyone that says not to get it…the stuff is awesome. But get the blue 2% kind or the chocolate, both are delicious. I know Walmart carries it here so I’m sure some grocery store around you sells it. Keep looking, it’s worth it.

calorie countdown is great. Both the 2% (blue bottle) and Skim (green) are good and I use the chocolate milk in my post work out shake to mix with the BCAA powder (since it is extremely bitter…)

Honestly, I enjoy the skim milk better than the 2%, plus the skim milk has 3g of carbs, no fat, and 8g of protein in each cup. I add a drop to my coffee in the morning, as well as to my scrambled omega 3 eggs to make it more & fluffy =)

Actually, in my township they don’t allow Walmart and other superstores to open. Sucked when I moved here, the gas to get to the nearest walmart practically makes buying from the local expensive stores cheaper…

Interesting, its at pretty much every grocery store I’ve been to on the east coast (Safeway, Giant, Food Lion, etc.)

If your in California they have Calorie Countdown Milk at Albertsons.

Take a carton of milk, dilute with cold water, add whey protein, shake like fuck yeilds low carb milk. A little flavouring essence and your set.
