Hood makes “Calorie Countdown” which has fewer calories, less sugar, and fewer carbs than regular milk. They’re big in New England. Don’t know about your neck of the woods. Good luck.

a super market/convenience store?
Walmarts carry Hood products here in GA so I’d assume that’s true everywhere??
its so light its like drinkingg water. it has liek no taste to it
I looked for “Carb Countdown” a couple days ago and saw they had changed it to “Calorie Countdown”. Im thinking this stuff will be gone soon as it only seems to sell among people serious about nutrition.

I’m quite serious about my nutrition. I wouldn’t drink that stuff if it were the last thing on earth called milk.
GROSSSSS!
It tastes like diluted cow ass.

Actually, I think it tastes almost the same.
With that aside, Calorie Countdown is more appealing due to people cutting calories rather than “just carbs.” This way it fits better for all diets.
Organic skim/fat free milk is your best bet taste wise. It lasts longer than regular milk and actually has more protein than Carb Countdown. The Carb Countdown chocolate milk is bananas. I’m lactose intolerant and that Carb Countdown chocolate and organic skim/fat free milk dont affect me in the least bit. I usually buy Carb Countdown Chocolate and Horizon Organic Fat Free Milk once a week. The organic milk is great when making Jello Sugarfree/Fat Free Chocolate Pudding. Great tasting snack that has non processed protein to boot! 9 grams per cup.
I actually found Hood low-carb milk in Publix in my area. I live in central florida but it may be in other publix’s too.
I’ve seen it in my Publix too. The chocolate wasn’t bad but not great.
You fools be trippin’. The Hood Low Carb milk is an amazing product. Especially the chocolate. Between the regular and the choclate, I go through about 4 cartons a week.
It’s a staple ingredient in many of Dr. Berardi’s Gourmet Nutrition recipes. I hear that sales of it a dropping off, due to the end of the Atkins craze. I don’t know what I’ll do if they discontinue it, so buy that shit.
Hood. Some people don’t like it, but I do. I use it to make shakes or puddings for my last meal of the day. I use at least two cartons a week. The chocolate is amazing to me. I drink it when I am craving something I shouldn’t have and it helps me avoid eating crap that is not part of my nutritional plan.

I love the Hood’s too. I can’t believe people don’t like the taste. I drink regular milk as well and actually think the Hoods tastes better.
