I’m in the middle of the meltdown workout found here and have managed to shed 25lbs since Nov. and actually have 4 of my old 6-pack back while slowly working on the remainder.
As I get myself back into shap I’m working towards bulking up and want to use a protien drink as one or two of the 6 meals I’m back to downing a day.
I’m looking at the two versions of Grow! and see that the classic has 40g of protein while the other has only 20g. I see some other dietary variants as well as a servings per container that differ significantly.
So… For this n00b to suppliments… would anyone care to throw in which Grow! they would suggest for someone wanting to bulk up while staying lean?
The difference in g protein is in the serving size.
Low-Carb Grow!: 1 scoop = 20g Protein
Classic: 2 scoop = 27g
3 scoop = 40g
So, as far as high quality protein is concerned, Low-Carb Grow! has the most bang for the buck. Since you’ve dropped a significant amount of weight, you probably have a body type that can gain weight easier in the first place. That being the case, I’d go with the Low-Carb Grow!. You can always add in more carbs when you want them, but you’re not stuck with them if you want a shake at night (when more carbs often = more fat).

Suggestions?[/quote]
Hey Choyt,
you need to be carefull. The serving size for Low-Carb Grow! is 1 scoop, the serving size for Classic Grow is 3 scoops, so one scoop of Classic Grow! has 13.3g of protein.
Both are quality powders, so you need to evaluate which one will complement and enhance your diet.
