While we’re on the subject of Grow!, I’m just curious…
I’ve tried both the Classic and Low-Carb Grow!
My opinion:
While I haven’t tried any new formulation of the Low-Carb version, I prefer Classic to the older Low-Carb. (Not to mention that, by necessity, I must run several miles/week, so I can use the extra calories to maintain or add weight; and the texture is better, IMO.)
Having said that, I’ve noticed that many, if not most, on T-Nation seem to prefer the Low-Carb.
Are any of you stuck on Low-Carb Grow! because you prefer the taste & texture or is it mainly because it lacks the carbs for a cutting cycle?
I get the new Low-Carb Grow! just for the micellar casein content. However, I do prefer the taste of the Classic Grow!. But the only time I drink it is before bed so I’d be crazy to use anything but the new Low-Carb Grow!.
I like the Low-Carb Grow! because it doesn’t require as much water to mix as Classic Grow! does. No matter how much water I put in with the Classic, it never fully mixed. With Low-Carb, I can put 2.5 scoops in a glass and fill with about a cup of water; it mixes wonderfully.

Classic Grow! contains fibers and gums to give it an incredible mouth feel. As such, it doesn’t mix well with a spoon. However, if you use a hand mixer or blender, you’ve got something that compares favorably with a Wendy’s shake.
Low-Carb Grow! with micellar casein, however, will mix with a spoon, but you’ll always get a better product using a hand mixer or blender.

I’ve never had a problem mixing either in a shaker, even the Classic mixed better than shit whey I used to get that was like 2 scoops to 20oz water.
Like was said - use a shaker bottle, it works great. I have one I got from gnc that has measurements on the side and has plenty of space to get a good shake.
