Good luck with the new shoes mate, it will be like night and day. I find the raised heal much better for lifting, for years I lifted bare foot or in flat Volleys but since moving to raised heals shits much more comfortable.

I’ve never considered wearing tights…until the foam rolling class Wednesday. We rolled a tennis ball along the IT band between the quad and hamstrings and it kept rolling up in my shorts. I had to hike my shorts up super high to work around it. The solution is tights. I still don’t own any. It’s just a thought at this point.

I used my new Nike romaleos 2 today. Umm…hell yeah! They are awesome…game changer on the squat! My big tall ass can sit back and stay balanced. Amazing!
Hypertrophy legs:
Squat:
165x15 (all reps done without stopping)
175x15 (same)
185x15 ( not this set stopped for breath at 10)
195x8 (really struggling to breath properly under load. Decided to live to fight another day.)
Ft squat:

Reverse lunge:
20s x12x3. Getting the form better. Will hold this weight one more week at least.

All done. Much better workout than last week. Pushed some of the squat weights up and still was able to recover during sets much better. Legs are feeling rock solid. Really enjoying this squat add on. Dreaming of a 3 plate squat soon…
