I’ve been to London, not sure what part of England you are in. I do see how public transportation would be sufficient and acceptable.

Having lived in South Africa all my life, it’s impossible to get around without a car, so I can see as this being a factor as an adult - I probably wouldn’t date a girl who is 30 and doesn’t have a car either if I was still living there - at 18 this wasn’t a problem though.
