hows it going everyone new to the T-Nation forum, just need some advice im looking to cut some BF and am currently training for strength currently using 5/3/1. know i cant get any stronger while in a caloric deficit ive tried and it turned out pretty bad so how should i adjust my training to maintain my strength
ive been reading about complexes and everyone who comments seem to go on and on about how its good for fat loss maybe try it out and report results?
You absolutely can get stronger on a calorie deficit, especially if the quality of the food you do eat is high and has adequate protein and fat, and enough carbs to keep you dominating your gym sessions. You will not gain strength while losing weight if you have reached your strength potential at your current bodyweight, which only a handful of posters on this site have done.
