I have just a quick question have any one of you experience a lost of apetite while in training, like you just feel like no eating? And if wha can posibly be the cause of this?
you mean actually DURING lifting well hell yes. Last thing I want is a big meal to blow all over the damn wall during heavy squats. I eat prior and try and drink a shake prior/during/and after but not get FULL that zaps my intensity.
Sorry i did not explained myself. I meant like during the day you are not hungry not even after working out, or before it.

I go through spells of this. I can’t explain it other than when I feel like not eating, it’s because I am not eating right and training too hard. I have to put my diet in check and then things are back to normal. Fatigue can lead to this.
I cant imagine losing my appetite at all, let alone on a day when I lift.
I lift early in the morning and any day that I do there had better be a shit load of food for me to eat. My appetite goes crazy when lifting.
If you fatigued yourself enough with training I can imagine the possibility that you weaken your appetite. It has happened to me before. The key is this- you need to be eating regularly every 3-4 hours regardless if you are hungry or not, and regardless if you’ve lost your appetite. Once you actually feel hungry, it’s too late you’re body has already slowed down it’s metabolism and recovery mechanisms (not a real scientific explanation I know…).
So eat anyway unless it actually makes you sick, then just don’t eat as much. This applies to whether or not your bulking or cutting.
yes! this has been happening to me lately. i’ve been leaning out, and although lots of people complain about being hungry when they cut calories, i’ve hardly felt hungry. i think it might be that my metabolism is dropping a bit (though i’m still losing fat so it can’t be that bad) - maybe you’re overtraining a tad. i think one of the signs is appetite loss. are you feeling fatigued? or are you anxious/edgy? have you changed your caffeine/stim consumption?
also, warmer weather often seems to trigger decreased appetite for me.

yeah, i force myself to eat 5 times a day. And yes i am fatigued, edgy, i am overtraining but i have a tournament this weekend so after that some pressure is off. So basically i have to keep on eating no matter what, thanks.!

It’s the same for me. It’s all I can do to stop myself from slaughtering a cow on the way to work after a workout.
