edit: also got some weightlifting shoes finally. i think they’ll help mostly with deadlift… and a bit with squatting form. we’ll see. for now ill go monday or tuesday again. even my fingers are sore haha

Kala, I have a tendency to overuse my back as well when I’m doing heavy singles on the squat. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Well done.

did a bunch of 40 kg snatches and 50 kg clean and jerks
also 3480 front squat, next time 85
its funny cause usually the coach will tell me to drop them before im done cause i seem tired, but i always do more at the squats. the squats i do at the gym are way harder. in front squats i barely have a sticking point so far.
ill just get it up quick, ill do front squats at the olympic place and back squats at the gym… and pretty much squat everday almost(but not twice a day)
tomorrow lets hope i get some deadlift , squat and overhead press PRs now that i feel kinda rested and my shoulder doesnt hurt much anymore. im pretty sure ill be able to get a deadlift PR
we did this exercise thats kinda like the opposite of a sit up(instead you “stand up” in a 45 degrees to vertical, using your lower back instead of your abs), i did like 25, and i bet i could have done 30-35 in the first set if i really tried

but i did a few snatches, my pull, or at least the first one really sucks, its just too hard to keep it in a straight line without scratching your legs. otherwise they felt easy (40kgs)

after i did a 120kg squat, my legs were so tired i couldnt do even a 117.5 and 115 i couldnt get up…
same for other lifts that i tried, couldnt deadlift 175, but i did a 170
i dunno, ill just try it all. ill eat more, rest for a week, make a deload and go from there, its getting too annoying

today i felt the wrath of being sick for 10 days.
back squats 560, 2100, 1*110 then my quads and hamstrings started to cramp up and felt really… not tight and i was afraid to go any higher… even the 110 was hard
i did a bunch of rack pulls and other weird stuff
also deadlifted 180… almost, i think i got it a bit over the knee.
anyway im gonna eat a ton today, maybe that will help
Holy shit man, you’re doing a lot of stuff. I would keep a close eye on your progress. Looking through your log, it looks as if it had a negative effect on your normal lifting routine.
Glad you’re feeling better, though! I bet your body needed that time off. Heh. I’ve never missed that many days of lifting… I took one week off once. That was it. I imagine it’ll be a few workouts until you get back into the grove.
60lbs increase on deadlift after 5 months of training. im thinking you should change something. my 112lbs female client is deadlifting 135lbs for 3 reps after 3 weeks of training. no prior experience.
actually thats 70 KGS increase in deadlift in 4 months of deadlift training
