You get a Nacho Libre reference but not The Program??? I’m a bit disappointed. Am I getting old? The Program is a great flick. We even got to watch it in college. All freshman athletes on scholarship had to take a class called PASS. We watched this because it has racism, sexual assault, steroids, pressure to perform in sports, pretty much the run of the mill college experience. I find it quite entertaining. As you can see, Lattimer was pretty excited to make starting defense! (he might also be the guy on steroids but I don’t want to spoil it for you)

I’m almost ashamed of how sore my legs and chest are from doing 3 hard work sets for each exercise instead of working up to one all out top set lol. About to go in for a ball busting back session. This should be fun

Body building is ok. No one ever said bigger muscles were a bad thing — except a woman when talking about herself.

Heaps of girls i know come to me asking advice about getting fit. What annoys the heck out of me is when they say “I dont want to build muscle, i just want to tone.”

Yep. I’ve started telling them that I’m insulted by their statement. I spend hours in the gym and I don’t grow but for some reason they think the pink DBs are going to add slabs of muscle to their fat ass…with less testosterone.

I also try to explain to them that toning isn’t a thing. Make the muscle grow and cut fat and the muscle will stand out more which is what “toned” means.

I wish I could run a fitness enterprise and ready people like The Apprentice. “Wrong! You’re fired! GTFO.”

Ain’t that the truth! I only have about 10 yards to move at my gym so there’s a lot of turning and/or setting the bar down. I don’t like it.

Yeah lucky for me the gym I go to has a field next to it and the owner lets me take the trap bar and some weights and do em outside. But with actual farmers handles the weight starts a lot higher so it’s easier to pick up, so the weight of the carry isn’t limited by the deadlift. If only I wasn’t broke and could get some
