Looks Like Wolverine Skips Leg Day

This is clearly doctored. He by no means has huge legs but just search his name and legs and you’ll see that his knee caps in relation to quad size have been altered.

There is a chance I guess that they look a little smaller than they are because this pic is taken from what seems to be a higher position than the two people in the picture.

yep those aren’t wheels , more like flat tires, but reputed to squat 500 hehe

500lb power curtsey… ahem I mean squat… with a lot of grinding and maybe some screaming… sure!

I thought they were trying to make him more stocky for the next X men movie, guess that was not true…

Who cares if his legs are small?

His goals/career doesn’t require him to have large legs so why would he train them? He is training for a film that requires a certain look… And that look doesn’t require big legs.

It’s not like he’s going to be ripping his pants off throughout the film.

Haters gonna hate though… So keep going I guess.

I’m supporting Hugh… I’m actually reverse hating. Hating on the haters.

That makes you a triple hater. Hating on a haters hater… You’re a triple reverse hater. So you should chill out and take a triple reverse hater-ade break brah.

Holy crap I think my head is about to explode!

Wow! He looks like he built his upper body lifting himself out of a wheelchair.

I think you’re being more of a White Knight but for an actor.

The reason we judge him I guess is that Hugh Jackman is seen as one of Hollywood’s “best built men”, and in many ways he is…we’re just pointing out for shits and giggles that this statue has clay feet.

BTW, I’m not expert, but that picture looks like it was taken at an off angle, it was shopped, or both.

Yep…it’s sad but that’s the simple, correct answer.

So long as the biceps are big the audience will consider an actor “huge” and “muscular”

[/quote]

it’s kinda fair enough though when you think about it. I mean, if you’ve only got a few months to get an actor in shape, you are going to take every shortcut possible to get him there. If you know your actor is not going to be showing his legs, but is going to be wearing a vest pretty much the whole way through the film then you are just going to build as big a set of arms and shoulders as you can.

Obviously bodybuilders are harder to impress, but to the average person on the street to look impressive all you need are good shoulders and low bodyfat.

ha awesome! You failed the T-Nation logic. Everyone must look like a bber.

Hugh Jackman playing wolverine has probably inspired more young men to get in the gym than a zillion bbing contests.

I have a friend whose ideal was Hugh Jackman, and he trained to attain a body very similar to Jackman’s.

Unfortunately, my friend’s wife teases him about his skinny legs.

LOL, that is funny! Sounds like he needs to butt sex her more often…and do more squats!

I would view it as a stepping stone vs an insult to the bb community.

This is basically what I meant. I may have come across wrong/snippy/like a d bag or something… Sorry. It’s been a long week.

You have a good point. While we all know the hormonal benefits of working the largest muscles in our bodies, Hugh was likely doing steroids which negates the need to work legs for said benefits.

Gonna suck if hes friends thinks he is strong and need help in carrying stuff but his legs wont have the power to do it.

But I guess he has the money for an army of helpers.
