Looking for brutal feedback: are these the real pain points in training/nutrition apps?

I’m right there with you, I do the walk of shame back into the house to grab that thing or the other too many times. Did you find one of those partners that have binders to manage your day to day survival or are you raw dogging it single

My gf is hyper meticulous… She’s a Dr. I’m sure it’s quite painful for her.

Like how % based programs work, such as 5/3/1. Adding other variables to the sets such as for example deload week %.

Just a random note - when I search for your app, this is what I get.

Does this mean there should be a bear maxing option with the ai?

hahah can I control if it corrects to muscle bear? because yeah you’ll get some good stuff but not mine. I’ll have a look at SEO options lol thanks

you’re a rich man

Ahh my competing friend was talking about that when I asked feedback, but it involved numbers too much so I zoned out for that part I’ll be honest.

Let me find and integrate the main % based programs and their variables, then teach the rules to the advisor. I’ll need some time though, will hear this week if funding is coming through or not.

Added 1RM logic already, can be updated manually ‘‘1rm deadlift 360kg’’ and log, otherwise it’ll show the highest lift from your regularly logged workouts

if it’s requested I’ll add it, after a lifetime of skinny I went bearmode in 2019 and im not ruling out doing it again

Hardest part of this 3-month process is getting the app on the iOS store, if anyone wants to use the mobile app for logging in the meantime just let me know and I’ll send a testflight invite.

I still can’t find it on the Play store.

You got it Doogie, will do my best to get it on the play store before the end of next week

Merry Christmas bros!

  • iOS app is live
  • CSV export integrated
  • A ton of other bug fixes

Next up is Android, and then completing tier 2 in January for bloodwork and protocol tracking: any recommendations, requests or pointers are more than welcome, I’ll be working with a competing BB but the more points of view the better.

@cantfitinjeans I didn’t forget you, MuscleBvll supports % based programs now, I do need to finetune more for user experience since I havent spent time using it IRL the way I did the splits

Additionally:

  • You can now set training goal in settings (e.g. hypertrophy) to automatically update reps/sets/rest
  • You can modify which equipment is available to you (e.g. home gym or hotel)
  • AI is aware of these new % based programs and will advise accordingly when you run the progress evaluation
  • Added a glossary in settings because I personally got confused by all the abbreviations

If any of you need me btw I check https://x.com/duckduckbvll in addition to this thread and I made Reddit - The heart of the internet if needed instead of a closed Discord server

would LOVE https://www.producthunt.com/products/musclebvll-console?launch=musclebvll-console an upvote on ProductHunt so more dudes can find MB

What’s going on dudes, havent logged in in a bit … was locked in  Have not been in the gym for 3 months either, I usually feel bad the first week but then that’s the new normal. Super dangerous. do you take ‘calculated’ breaks or do you just take sabbaticals?

Hey big guy, all your measurements are saved so if you get prompted to ‘‘onboard’’ again due to V2 changes then everything should be filled in for you, can just click next until it’s done

You mind if I send you an invite for a video call for next week to hang out and chat a bit?

Sorry Doogie, had to bench it for a bit :frowning: It’s done though just need to find an android phone to activate my developer account, probably go to one of those Turkish phone shops

Done!
