Looking for Advice on Second Cycle

Thanks for checking this out. I’ve research various forums and I consistently stumble across good info in this forum, so I decided to post an initial plan for my upcoming (2nd) cycle. Any opinions or advice would be very much appreciated.

Some basic stats:
25 yrs old (at start of cycle)
Training for the past 7 years
1 Previous cycle: Test/Tren/Winny (finished about 8 months ago)
6’4" 205 lbs.
~13% Bodyfat
Bench: 9 reps @ 225 lbs. (I don’t know if that helps, but I’ve seen it in other similar posts)

I’m looking to gain 15-18 pounds while staying as lean as possible (or preferably get leaner). Here is what I was thinking:

Weeks 1-12:
Test 600mg/wk (2 pokes/wk, the Test is a 400mg/ml mix of Test e and c)
EQ 400mg/wk (2 pokes/wk)

Weeks 6-12:
Anavar 26mg/daily (split in two doses morning/afternoon)

Weeks 13-15:
Test 400mg/wk, 300mg/wk, 200mg/wk

Weeks 16-18:
Off

Weeks 19-21:
PCT w/Nolva
Animal Stak
ZMA

I was planning on Aromasin @ 12.5 mg daily throughout cycle up until PCT. I presented this all to a friend of mine who suggested possibly substituting Deca instead of EQ (at the same dose) and adding Pramipexole @ .25-.5mg daily during weeks 1-15. His reasoning was that Deca would be better to add mass and the Aromasin and Var would keep the water/bloating down. I had amazing results on tren but it killed my cardio, which I have to maintain at a high level (for any other new guys reading this post - look into tren, it’s amazing).

And explain your reasoning for tapering the dosage of testosterone from weeks 13-15.

Yeah frankly, unless for some reason you purposely didn’t want to gain weight previously (ie. for sport-specific reasons that no longer exist), you’re on the small side and might have trouble hanging onto gains post-cycle, barring major changes in your diet.

Firstly, start off by frontloading your test and EQ / deca. There are a number of threads here that you can dig up on that subject, but essentially you’re taking a significantly bigger first injection in order to reach steady blood levels of the hormones right off the bat, rather than slowly over the course of the first three injections or so. It’s the exact same concept as when you get a Z-pak from the doctor and take two pills on the first day.

If you run the deca - which I’ve never run - sure, use prami, caber or some other dopamine agonist to control prolactin levels. Anecdotes suggest that it’s a little harder to find that sweet spot with prami than it is with caber, but then, if you’re worried about the very small chance of heart valve issues that comes with caber, it makes sense to use prami I suppose.

OTOH, Equipose will certainly bump up your appetite, which might be particularly valuable to you. I’ve found that it can mess up my sleeping a bit, but not drastically. Deca and EQ are both longer esters than your test E / C, so drop your second compound a week or so before the testosterone.

Why worry about anavar on a bulking cycle? Who cares that much about water retention… by all means control what you need to with aromasin but the remaining water will be gone soon enough. Anavar, when real, is a surprisingly decent compound for strength ime, but it certainly doesn’t match up to dianabol for bulking purposes. I’d run dbol for 6+ weeks, maybe from week 8 through week 14 (with PCT starting week 15).

As Bonez points out, your taper seems pointless. Read the appropriate sticky if you really want to learn how to do a stasis-taper. I’d just stick with a SERM PCT, starting two weeks after your last shot of test… so say you run test E/C wks 1-12, EQ wks 1-11, dbol wks 8-14, then you’d start your PCT at the beginning of wk 15.
