Looking for a Solid Bench

My current bench is getting a bit worn out and just a little wobbly. It was a cheapo that came with some other accessories, and I never bought a better one when I got my power rack.

Anybody got any info on a rock solid bench that I won’t have to take out a loan for? I need it to be adjustable, at least for an incline (I don’t use decline much at all), because I don’t have room for two or three benches.

If I have to go the high-dollar route, I’m gonna get the best damn bench I can get my hands on, and hopefully never have to buy another. So opinions on that are welcome as well.

Also, I have some thick hardwood timbers and would definitely be willing to build one. Any info on THAT would damn sure be appreciated.

Here is a link to one: http://www.texasstrengthsystems.com/declineinclinebench.html

TexasStrengthSystems has some quality products. They supply UT of San Antonio’s powerlifting teams equipment for training and meets. I heard they supply Texas A&M as well but dont quote me on that. I have used their equipment before and am well pleased. Also, I heard IronMaster’s bench is good and decently priced.

TSS is definetly the best and most cost effective way to go, they set up all of the High school powerlifting meets in Texas and multiple USAPL meets a year. I have lifted on all of their equipment and can vouch for how great it is.

That is a good looking bench from TSS. A bit on the pricey side, but I don’t mind paying for good quality equipment.

I’ve been searching and found a Forza that looks awesome: http://www.forzastrength.com/products/58.big , and one that looks pretty good from Bomb-Proof: http://www.ironcompany.com/ProductImages/bombproof/7-lg.jpg

Anybody lifted on these?

We just got a forza at my gym, I had competed on them before, it is awesome. It is actually pretty compact so it doesn’t take up much space, great pad that is pretty sticky, easy to adjust the racks, and easy to spot somebody. Costs 1K, should last forever.
