As far as training partners go, I got a pretty decent one, as we both perform the same programs, and have the same goals in mind. Actually we move the same exact weights for the most part, varying only in 1 rep at times near the last set of a certain exercise, which is good since you don’t have to keep unloading, and loading plates on. I guess this would be attributed to the fact that he is my twin.
In my opinion anyone who isn’t already at the same level and who dosn’t have the same line of thinking as yourself is not likely to make a good training partner. I tried training with one of my friends for a couple sessions and they did in fact slow me down, became annoying by talking to much, and basically got in my way.
