So I just finished my first year of college and saw a lot of my old friends from high school. It felt GREAT when they came up to me and said “wow joe looking good, what’d you put on 30 lbs.” I was like “yea, actually i did.” heh.
Has this ever happend to anyone, Like you haven’t seen someone for a while and then they tell you that your lookin’ good? Its such a great feeling to know all your hard work is payin’ off.
My girlfriend went to see an old friend of mine a few months ago. The last time I had sen him was 4 years ago and I was 40 pounds lighter. Now, to understand this, you need to see me now. I’m 6’2" and 217 and nowhere near big or imposing, but certainly not sickly like I was at 170-180. Anyway, my friend sees me and says “boy, you’ve put weight on, look at that fat ass.” I felt like smacking him. This ass is all muscle from deads, squats etc. Sure, I’m still slim, but I have a squatters ass devloping and I’m proud of it. Damn proud. He thought I was fat, but hey, he’s never exercised in his life.
Yeah, I ran into a girl I hadn’t seen since high school the other day. I’m not huge or anything but I’m about 40 lbs heavier than I was in highschool. Judging by the expression on her face and the fact that her socks were getting wet I think she liked the change.
