I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a low does long term use steriod. Long term like a year on.
Check out Cy Willson’s “never ending cycle” article for some guidance. Use the search engine and you should find it.
also this would be called TRT.
After a while your body shuts down its own production of hormones so you will start out adding on to yours but then eventually be replacing them.
yes its possible, yes it happens but remember the longer your on the harder it is for your body too recover when coming off.
What are your goals. It’s important if you want through advice.
Thank you for the feed back. What I am looking to do is keep strength up along with a hard full look. My stable weight is 185/190 @ 5’8’’ like to be a solid 195/200 year round.
So OP are you prepared to stay on steroids for potentially the rest of your life? Like the others have said, that’s pretty much what it looks like you’re getting in to. However, I don’t see you gaining 15 lbs of muscle at a HRT dose.
You might just want to run a solid, shorter cycle. I believe that to be a better idea.

Can you elaborate on why you feel you need to be on a 52 week ‘cycle’ to keep your bodyweight at 200 pounds? Why wouldn’t a normal 10-12 week bulking cycle be appropriate? A net gain of 5-15 pounds is comically easy to achieve if you know how to eat on and off cycle.
If you want to be on for 1 year that is your choice, but what do you plan to do after that year is up? Are you going to come off?
Thanks again for more info.
My diet is sound, I guess what it comes down to I just love the feel. So I was looking at taking a low does of anavar kinda like a multi vite. I am 35 and just dont want to have to pound it as hard anymore.

What’s a yearlong cycle of var going to do to your liver?
I don’t know at what point liver toxicity becomes an issue, but I would think that in general, an injectable would be a better choice?
(vets, feel free to tell me to go away when my questions get too obnoxious

You make a valid point.
Anavar is methylated. If I remember correctly, liver damage is affected by duration more than dosage. A year straight is not a good idea at all.
Running orals long term is not a good idea. If you are planning to stay on for a year you might as well stay on for good…not that you can’t recover after a year of use but you probably aren’t going to want to come off.
You can go the HRT route. Look up “your doctor your dealer” to find out how to manage to get that done. They will likely put you on about 100-150mg/w of test cyp.
My ideal “long term” cycle if I was a little older and no longer concerned about recovery would be something like this:
Test Enth/Cyp 300mg/w
Adex 0.25mg EOD
HGH 6iu post workout
From there I would throw on the occasional short cycle with whatever I wanted to give myself a bit of a boost when my training schedule could handle it.
Wow you guys are great! Thank you for the heads up. Used deca and equ before but never really nailed it. So thank you for the great tips.

Bill Roberts suggested you could do 200 mg/week of Primobolan + 50 mg of Clomid almost indefinitely without shutting down your natural testosterone production.
To test the theory, I went on a 3 month long cycle of Primo, but alternating 200mg/week and 100mg/week with 50 mg Clomid every day. My natural testosterone production did not suffer. Gains were quite modest. If I remember correctly, in 3 months I lost about an inch on my waist and gained a little size on my arms.
I think that if you want to be on the very safe side, you can do a similar cycle for 6-12 month without much adverse effect. Of course, you shouldn’t expect any spectacular gains, but I would say it will still keep you on the positive nitrogen balance side of things all the time, so may be worth a try, especially if you use some supplements.
I suspect Masteron can be used in the same way, but have not taken measurements to prove it.
As I was also using low-dose HCG at the same time (as well as letrozole) I would have had to do an LH test to demonstrate that LH was not much suppressed. I want to do so at some point but did not do it in the recent usage.
If not taking HCG then all one needs is to test free T.
