Long Hard Road After Severe Operation...

Good job and keep up the good work

So, a nice change from HFT…After my two week cruise doing a few strenght/power workouts a week my workout partner and I are going to start ovt for the 8 weeks. The only change we are making is combining the shoulders with bis and tris and dropping a set or two off tris. If it doesn’t go well, we will just adopt the 4 day split.

if you think about it you can bulk up and gain what another 3-5% bf? now add up how much that is couple pounds fat, right?

just lift heavy worry about dieting down later.

Hey…just wanted to wish you luck.

I haven’t read your entire story (couldn’t find it) but I think I had probably a very similar operation to you a few years ago that saved my life from Crohns disease.
Currently about 12.5 weeks out from my first figure comp. and working hard. Scar is going suck on stage, but will do everything I can to cover it and do the best I can otherwise.

Won’t let it bring me down…sounds like you have the same attitude!
Good luck in your bodybuilding!

just thought i would throw this up…got a new back pic.

im pulling 315 off the floor for sets of 10. I have a goal to get up to sets of 405 by the end of the year.

Your traps seem to be lagging a bit. I have the same problem as you that our traps insert a bit differently on each side. Doing some direct trap work would do you good.

Agreed

Theres good advice on here. I wouldn’t waste time on cutting either personally. You could just do a slow bulk where your only really gaining LBM, its slow. I believe in the best conditions the most you will gain is around 0.5lbs/week. Its all in an article by CT.

Like others have been saying, traps are definately lagging. You look good, but not real solid.

i guess its a good time to start throwing in the direct trap work. I haven’t done anything for traps except focusing on raising my deadlift…I will give it a shot and post again in about a month. thx for the advice.
