10am: 8 upright rows then 10 normal curls at 81

2pm: 20 wide curls, 10 narrow curls at 81

I was going to do shot put last year in high school but it didn’t work out.

Thats when i started, senior year of high school, that was a magical couple of months; gettin better everyday, startling the head coach by winning duel meets… man ive missed that during my college sub-mediocracy haha. Not to mention the quality of (y’all know) i was getting back then.

saturday- squat to 305, nothing real serious but felt a baby tweak in one of my mid left back muscles, im over back squat for life, whether its my own fault for form or whatever its just never worth it for me.

sunday- bench 240- 3,2,1(misgrooved the 1st more than anything, i might have been able to grind a second but all the reps were ground out, didnt want to fail a rep)

Well, to make my arms balance/stabilize the weight, and because I get bored. I havent worked out in a gym in a long time. my saturday and sunday (deadlift and bench) workouts are on these weights under a carport in a private park where this real estate millionaire philanthropist lets us have throwers meets every saturday year round.

my other workouts are in the warehouse at my work where the silk screen operator keeps a curl bar, two dumbells and about 250lbs of weights. Thats gonna change soon though, because this semester ill either be at school a lot where the gym is free, or at a really good pharmaceutical internship where im pretty sure they have a gym.

so saturday night i drink some 40s of mickeys with the homeboy, ended up stacking my mountain bike pretty hard. both knees, face, and right elbow. no way i couldve benched sunday. monday isnt a training day, tuesday i had a big interview, wednesday i was aiming for SOHP 165 2 of 2 but couldnt hit it even once.

today:
hang clean to push press to 10 low box squats- 2 sets @ 191

Deadlift 340- 4 of 4
Bar curls with 50, 3s and assisted 3s

56lb weight- 22’2" PR
Shot- 34’11" best since last season.

sunday bench- sucked. 245x1 and then fail on 2. not in my wildest nightmare did i think i wouldnt get at least 2 of 2 guessing the missed week had something to do with it. started plyo routine again.

150- 5 of 3
straight arm supp flys- 33- 2 of 8

hang clean to push press to 10 low box squats- 2 sets @ 195

the clean’s pretty hard, which is sad
but the real sketchy part is putting the bar on my neck after the push press, not 100% in control. prolly shouldnt even have done the second set today as dangerous as the first set was, cant promise i wont try 201 next week, but after that my schedules gonna be all changed up, and ill only be going heavier in a power rack (eliminating the clean and press portion).
