lol, what do you mean “has been?” “Has been” would be someone who competed back in the 90s and actually won shows or something.
Back to the topic…it is much easier to caliper a 150lb skinny kid than a 260lb “full house” weightlifter…as gauging abdominal fat is VERY difficult…so even if the same guy did it both times…more than likely the second test is wildly inaccurate.
All in favor of X getting a hydrostatic bf test TO SILENCE ALL HIS HATERZZ…
Raise their hands.

serious. i am in process of dieting, and fuck, i have lost a shitload of wieght, and feel like i am starving, but i am still so far from looking like you and your type that it is depressing, i think i am gonna have to go sub 180lbs to get where i want.
note to proff X it is very humbling to realize how much bodyfat you are carrying once you seriously try to diet.
X–While I know our physique goals change over time, and one shouldn’t place any “limits” on what they’re striving to accomplish at any point along the way, do you have any concrete feel within yourself about what it is you’re really are after?
You have had some injuries in the past that have temporarily limited you, so have I and so have many others. Comes with the territory.
You’ve been to Biotest HQ more than once, and have had opportunities and support from people that could literally help you attain anything you want to with your physique.
You’ve been part of T-Nation since the beginning.
Personally, I like you, always have. You’ve earned my respect in many ways. I also think you want to be perceived a certain way on this site, which in my opinion is something that is holding you back, if in fact, you desire to attain more with your physique.
Do you?
Honestly big man, I sincerely believe if you got out of your own way, you could accomplish whatever you choose to.

Oh, well thanks! I’m 175 in the pic and will probably be 170-ish on stage tomorrow once fully dehydrated. I am actually doing classic physique division which is middle ground between physique and BBing. I am still QUITE small by BBing standards…would need to bring up delts, arms, and legs BIG TIME!
Having been through the whole journey starting out at 233 last July, it is quite amusing to see how utterly delirious PX is of how light he’d have to be to reach low bodyfat. I originally thought I could be competing at 190! Lol. Being low bodyfat also tells you how symmetric and proportional you really are…you know the meat and potatoes of BODYBUILDING!
I don’t understand how my post in the bodybuilding forum asking about a bodybuilding book gets moved to Get a Life but this aurgumentative post diguised as a philosophical post remains here, especially when the topic doesn’t really pertain to the forum. The mods should create a wastelands forum and send shit like this there.

I have plans to do more. I also just spent over a year recovering from a major motorcycle accident where I nearly lost my eye, broke the fingers on my right hand (which meant I couldn’t even hold a toothbrush for several months) and injured my back and shoulder.
That is an injury that would have pushed most out of the gym completely, so I often wonder why people ignore that when telling me that I should be doing more.
I did do more.
Yes, I do have a concrete view of what I am after and have been working for that from the start. I always knew my goal was to be able to hit a weight over 220lbs with all abs showing. That is my goal. I know the look in my head which is all that matters.

I am not even trying to compete so I don’t understand what this post is even referring to. This isn’t about dieting down to super low body fat percentages. I can look good at over 10% body fat so what is your point about my delusion? I think I look decent now so why do you think I need to drop so much more weight?

lol at the people who think x is SERIOUS with all his bullshit…this is pure entertainment for him…if he REALLY upsets you, he wins.
fuck this troll, jsut have fun with him like i do…i guarantee if he ever made his way up to nor-cal and we met up for training and steaks, he would be fine and we would have a good time. this is all an act folks…
One doesn’t “act” for over a decade or have a 13+ post count a day over that same time period just for shits and gigs. He’s a sad guy who tries to establish “dominance” in an anonymous forum 'cause he has none in his real life.

I have dieted before and am leaning up now. Why would you need to make a note to me about it?
awwww, you know why. stop being so coy, sugar.
heavythrower wrote:

I want you to explain why.
tell me why you, someone dieting, would need to tell me, someone dieting, that you are making a note to me about dieting?
Please explain that.
think about it. your a doctor, biologist, geneticist, super awesome at everything-ist…you will get it eventually.
