This sentence is just unfathomable, really hard to get my head around the fact that, as a woman (no offense of course), you are squatting over 3x body weight. I’ve got a good 200 lbs more 'til I get there. Unbelievable! Keep up the good work.

I think Lil Power just invited me to compete in November. I’m sure they’d be wowed by my 95lb bench, and 115 lb squat! Very funny. Seriously, it would be so fun to see the meet. We’ll see.
PP - I did a meet for myself, and at my next one I plan to beat my numbers. If my goal was to be THE best I’d go home crying. My goal is to be MY best which is motivating and fun.

PP- I’m totally serious, the Nov meet in Sacramento is an ALL Women’s meet, from 1st timers to more experienced lifters, last year was the first time and it was awesome. Just being with all the females, you can learn a lot. As Mainy stated, it’s not about impressing anyone but yourself, besides it’s just plain FUN, why else would we be doing it? Feel free to PM me if you want to talk or want more info.

Lil P, my mind starts to swirl when I think about those bench numbers. Awesome inspiration in here. Wow! Good luck with the cardio and whatnot, you are a better woman than I to keep getting on that treadmill.
I think it’s so true about competing against yourself at PL meets. I worried about the paltry weights I was lifting at my first few meets. But now it’s all about me against myself. That’s why I’m not happy to head home with a big first place trophy if I didn’t meet my expectations. I would strongly encourage more women to get into this sport. I really try to help out women who express any interest whatsoever.
i wish you could come stand up my cleans for me. just think how much i could lift then, mwah haha! no way i’m lifting 3x bodyweight into position, though :-/
