Snap-speedy RDL, yea guess it they would be. Dimels used more for rehab, lighter weight and explosive hip movement…

Watching that vid, it really strikes me how similar RDLs are to goodmornings, just the bar is in your hand instead of on your back, lol. I really need to incorporate RDLs. Awesome work lil! I’ve always gotten the impression that deadlift suits really don’t add much to your max, it seems like anything thats not tight on the hips would be pretty much useless.

I’m actually soon to order a custom squat suit because of how poorly the two I have fit. The tightness on the thighs just about cuts off my circulation not to mention looks more nasty than should be allowed.

Owlie, yea, I’ve heard that DL suits don’t give much, but since it’s my worst lift, I’ll take anything…lol
Dimels I think work more glute/ham, and GM’s for me work the lower back more, but a lot of glute/ham

Yes, one definitely has to check one’s ego at the door when donning this attire.

I have only competed (squat and DL) in an old Inzer Max DL suit that I got third-hand. Used to belong to a high school team and was probably worn by some pimply prepubescent boy. I also own a Titan Centurian NXG+. I trained in it once and ripped out the stitching. Had it fixed but don’t trust and refuse to use it to my coach’s chagrin. He wants me to get a custom Centurian squat suit and a Velocity DL suit.

How are you liking the gear?

Snap - I really like the Super Centurion for squatting, but come summer time there’s no short shorts, the brusing I get is awesome. I’m thinking once I learn to keep my air in with straps up, it may give me almost 80-100 lbs! It did loosen up some after about 4-5 session, but washed on gentle and dryer on low and it tighten back up. From what I hear Titan gear does loosen up some. After I lose a few more inches, I’ll be sending it back to get it tighten up.
