Lifting in Prison

Craig Titus is in jail…anyone seen what he looks like lately?

RJ24, you really do come off like a complete dick every time you post. Do they not have other people up there in Alaska for you to relate with?

Here we go again…
RJ24, you just couldn’t resist, eh? What’s the reason, small dick or something? And you are excusing yourself with saying “Well, I suck at my sport” in some strange self-humility fashion and adding after that “Ofcourse it’s because I’m neglecting it, 'cause I have the acceleration of Ben Johnson. I’m genetic freak, you know.” Already heard that on other topics, so please stop with that stupid attitude of yours.

Sorry for the offtopic

This thread was awesome, mostly because of the number of people ripping on RJ24. That dude catches so much shit…

It’s weird- he comes off as an arrogant dick but my guess is that it’s completely unintentional. The stuff he claims to have done isn’t outside the scope of possibility. And from the authors that he quotes, he’s probably read up on his shit. Poor guy.

Wait… that dude can Oly squat 400. Fuck ‘poor guy’. The mans a dick.

Oh… and good points about prison lifting too.

I guess Ron Palmar will find out what it’s like soon…

Do you guys not understand that redsox348984 bumped a nearly four month old thread? RJ24 hasn’t posted in the Strength Sports forum in nearly a month.

Well, I guess, I myself couldn’t stop what I intended to write after seeing the posts in the thread (RJ24-style), just jumped headfirst into the flaming. Saw the date after you pointed it. I’m a little ashamed now.

Yea I was actually thinking about that the other day. We always claim that nutrition is the most important aspect to putting on size, but a lot of these guys get absolutely massive with less than optimal prison food.
1.they TRAIN HARD

2.they REST A LOT

3.are geneticaly HIGH TEST men

4.they stick to lifting weights EVERY DAY FOR A LONG TIME

Balkanboy and I always joke that if we end in prison one day,its going to be MASSIVE TRAININGS…thousands of push-ups and thousands of sit-ups!!!

Who really cares if steroids are in prisons. Personally I don’t take steroids, but I also don’t think they should be illegal. At least they are in there lifting weights and not killing each other. However, on the other side of the argument it doesn’t really make a lot of sense to send criminals to prison and make them bigger stronger criminals.
doesnt matter how big and strong they are if you shoot them in the face they’re going down. So remember kids, always pack heat.

The more impressive thing is lifting numbers like that with the food they are served.

“i don’t really lift weights much but i can squat around 400.” so if you don’t lift much then how do you know what you can do?

one of the best M&F workout regimines i ever saw was “THE PRISON WORKOUT.” they wrote a nice article about a specific prison and how the inmates all lifted like crazy and were jacked as hell. there was an accompanying workout plan based on what they did.

What was their workout?

The guy being interviewed said they mostly just did this:

SQUAT, DEADLIFT, BENCH PRESS, MILITARY PRESS AND BARBELL ROWS

mostly due to their lack of equipment, all they had are flat benches, cheapo squat racks to hold bars on, bars and weights. so basically they are restricted to whatever you can do with a bar. sounds to me like a plan for some damn good growth!

and throw in the “lots of rest,” “high calorie food,” “high test atmosphere” and you see why what happens happens.

oh yea and i don’t lift much but i know i can do at least 10 right hand jerk offs in one day.

Why doesn’t someone open up a themed gym called “Behind Bars” and market it to people who wanna get big like Tookie.

Yeah, it’s amazing how many times it’s said that basic compound lifts will improve your strength and size more than anything, but yet the average gym goer is more concerned with doing his isolation bosu ball db curl. Go into any gym and the disparity between those who are strong and big and those who are not can almost always be traced back to compound lifts.
