i know i have to lift heavy to gain muscle mass, but also in isolation exercises?
if i do for example 6-8 reps (with heavy weight) of dumbbell laterals and front laterals for deltoids will it make me earn mass?
The only thing that could make you gain mass is food.
Coincidentally, Eric Helms just addressed your exact question last night in a new video series

There’s always going to be a trade-off when going heavier on isolation exercises. The primary trade-off being, the heavier you go, the less isolation you get. You also start flipping the risk:reward balance in the wrong direction when you start trying to increase the weight moved with fewer muscles.
That said, going heavier and using some body english with laterals or barbell/dumbbell curls can be pretty effective. I’ve also taken a liking to heavier, lower rep calf work (done flatfooted on the ground to limit the ROM and avoid the stretch).
Only isolation moves a beginner should be doing is to fix their squat.
