Lifting After Cataract Surgery

I have been lifting for decades and have never taken more than a week or so off.
Well, I had cataract surgery for one eye just this week and my other eye is scheduled for December 6th.

I am told that I can do NO lifting at all for 6 weeks. Ive had injuries before and had no problem devising workarounds.
But there is no workaround for this as it seems just about any activity will raise interocular eye pressure.

Has anyone here been down this road?
Im now 65 and female, so hanging onto muscle is a priority. Ive increased my protein and sacrificed some carbs, but Im at a loss of what to do workout wise.

Help!

Correct. I had the same issue with an eye surgery a year ago. My recommendation is LISS walking and a strict high protein diet for six weeks.

Did you chill for the 6 weeks?
