In other news…we’re doing a bit of product design for something archery related, so I was told to purchase (with work funds) a new bow, so we can do some research and development. The last bow we used was one my dad bought 5 years ago, and I was the only one to shoot it, until he decided to give it to my cousin when I was back in NH. Ok…fine, I’ll get something newer and more awesome. Well, I shot this bad boy yesterday…

…and holy shit, am I in love with it?! My dad can’t shoot anymore because he’s frail and his shoulders are effed, my brother’s a lefty, so that leaves me to do all the “hard work” so why not pick something I could go hunt with? Since Africa, I’ve been wanting to hunt with a bow, so now I just gotta figure out what/where to hunt! I don’t work in the archery business, but my Dad had an idea for a product we could make for the industry, so we’re “branching out” a little, and I’m loving it!

MiMz, I’m going to score it today or maybe this weekend, depending on when I can get it set up. I’m not a bowhunter yet, but I will be someday hopefully soon. I want to be all stealthy and close enough to hear something breath…draw back…line it up…FWACK! Roasted! I’ve still been using my Jack3d, but being weary of what time/how much I take. If it’s earlier in the day like a weekend, I’ll hit 2 scoops and tear shit up, sleep fine. If it’s a weeknight and I take it (I didn’t last night because it was too late) I’ll take 1 scoop, maybe a little bit more, and can be asleep ~4 hours later.
Off to the (different, close to work) Archery shop in about 15 minutes, to see if they got that beast in stock that they can set me up with. I REALLY want it in all black, but don’t want to have to tell the boss man I’m putting things on hold for 2 weeks while it gets delivered. Hey, beggers can’t be choosers, right?

LOL, you gotta keep your elbow out a bit, not down. Down and you get the string bite. Once it happens once, and your arm swells up, you’re going to do it again and again. Throwing it down was probably the smartest thing to do at that point, haha

Done. Dips on the top of a wobbly cage is a bit intimidating at first, but ya get used to it. My quads were burning after all that benching, so I’m getting better leg drive. Overall great session.
I’m going to look deeper into the 5 week meet prep Sheiko cycle and see if I like the looks of that or if I should run #29 again or maybe #37.

By the end of the second week, I was doing pretty good. Last night I was knocking out bench sets with probably a minute or less or rest, and not dying from it.
The weights are movin up and you are crushin it Ink, good work. Found another good powerlifting video.
