I fucking love my gym’s thick bar. I never have elbow issues when I use it for pressing…and on deads it rotates…not sure why, but it seems to make the weight fly up.

They feel real good. I even wore them in to work today to get a little more “break in time” with them. They’ve been good. Can’t wait to squat in them tomorrow.

Why did nobody tell me to do skulls with a wider grip? I’ve always done a narrow grip on an EZ bar, and ALWAYS had elbow problems. For some reason (I’m getting wiser in the ways of le iron, apparantly) I opted to try a wider grip, and boom…roasted those bitches. Tri’s are actually sore today, along with my delts from that stupid triset I did. I’ll have to keep it in, widen up my shoulders so I look bigger than I really am, lol

Was feeling strong today, and curious as to what my squat max has done. I was planning on waiting a week and testing fresh, but after my last working set yesterday, I said “fuck it”.

Thanks man, I sure hope so! I’m going to deload until meet time, so that I’ll be able to work my ass off leading up to it, back off for a bit, and smash it on the platform
