Honestly, it was really weird at first. The grip itself is kinda squishy, so it wasn’t a solid feel when you’re holding the bar. BUT, I think that made it a little more difficult, and I think it could only work your grip more. Plus, it’s about 3-4" in diameter before it gets smashed in your hands. Try it, it’s like $1 at the dollar store, cut it to length with a steak knife and slice it down one side.

Thanks man, that’s a different way to do it than I’ve seen before. My issue is that I haven’t bolted down my rack (yet) so until I get around to doing that, I’m stuck using thing that won’t flip the rack over on my head mid-lift. I really need to do that…haha

Today though, my triceps are smoked. I think the alternating paused rep BBB assistance template thing is something I’m going to continue for a while.
I used to fall in the “curls are worthless” category, but they’ve been a big help in keeping my elbows and forearms from feeling trashed by heavy benching. With that said, my arms are still puny.

This is why I’ve wanted to start tossing in some more biceps work, but only time will tell if they’ll stay in rotation. The Gun Show has been postponed, with an unconfirmed debut date, for now.
