LOL, thanks Spar. I earned my Hood Pass last year, as Rock was gracious enough to sponser me when I impressed him with all of my hood-like references I’d drop in his log. Undercover Brother is a funny ass movie, stupid-funny, which is right up my alley, LOL
WhiteFlash, thanks man, on both accounts. The dogs were fostered, but it looks like we’ll probably be keeping them. Foster failures, you could say. The progress, never ending.
You should man. Been around damn near any breed you can think of and there’s no love or loyalty like that of a pits.
I’m seeing that every day. Love these two!
Late start last night, after a busy ass day, but still got in the work.
#29 W1D2
Deadlift to knees, with 3" deficit
225x2
275x3
315x3x5 All beltless. Having to get that low, the belt was pinching/mutilating my “abs” so I did them beltless (other than set #2) and kept the weight @ 315 for the last 3 sets, rather than jump to 345. Not bad for beltless and from a deficit.
Incline Bench
185x6x4 Last time I did these was with 155, so +30#PR I guess, lol. All reps paused, obvi
Dips
4x8
Had a serious delt pump going on…notsureifdoingitright?
Block pulls
255x4
295x4
345x4x2
385x4x2 Straps. Dying right now…
Ghetto GHR’s
5x5
Someday I’ll be able to do these without the “explosive pushup” at the bottom, lol
Ab strap fallouts. Taken from stormthebeach, I did these with the straps I use for suspended GM’s, so the depth wasn’t as low as I’d like it to be, but holy shit did these hurt.

Solid work Ink. You’re moving a lot of weight.
How are the ABZ today?
Thanks man.
You really want to know? THEY HURT SO BAD! I gotta keep on top of ab training, to avoid the rediculous DOMS I get from the occasional ab exercise I do.

LOL.
I do 'em 3x a week. 1 day, standing, 1 day kneeling/machine, 1 day raises. Take every 4th week or so off.
Guess what Inky, you’re gonna be so proud of me, I think I’m going to do a PL meet in April (stop laughing!). I’m testing my maxes this week, should be interesting. I’ll let you know what comes of it, but yes, lil’ chuleta might be coming to the dark side. Be gentle.
Today, I’m rediculously sore. Seriously. Bench heavy tonight (not heavy poundage, heavy volume)
Since I’ve been using a training max of 295 for the last cycle which was about 7% higher than my 1RM, I’ll be using 305 as the training max for the rest of this cycle since I think I could have gotten that 285 fresh.

Whens the next meet?
March 31st. It’s the same meet that I did last year as my first, so it will be nice to see what kind of improvements I have made on the platform in 1 year.
Update from the taxidermist (God this takes forever…)
Just a few of my dads animals:
Clockwise from the top left, Gemsbock, Impala, Waterbuck, Red Hartebeest, Warthog. He’s also getting the back half of the warthog mounted, so he can put it on the other side of the wall, opposite the head. For the lulz.
also you have finally peer pressured me into Sheiko. The results wer 2.5 hours in the gym, sore as hell and hungry still after 2 meals. If I blow up to 200lbs this is your fault Ink.

You’re welcome!!
Seriously though, awesome! I’m sure you’ll make some hyuge gainz, brah. I’ll keep up to date in your log and drop knowledge bombs like Donkey Kong all over you, with my vast experience of almost 5 months of Sheiko
Once you get used to it, your sessions won’t take that long. 2 minutes rest on the big sets, 1 minute on the accessory stuff, and boom…roasted.
Finished the other half of the session for #29 W1D3 last night, almost puked on 4th set @ 255. Love it, haha
Squats
175x5
205x4
235x3x2
255x3x5
GM’s
5x5
That’s it. Moar squats and benching this weekend. Just re-reading Dave Tate’s 6 Week Bench Press Cure article, and it’s reminding me of several tips I’ve forgotten. I’ve read too many articles back before I was even serious, that rereading them now puts them into perspective and I can actually benefit from them, rather than just think “OH that’s cool, I’ll have to try that when I actually bench”
