Herc, yeah man, today was rough. I would bend down to pick something up and quickly turn it into a goblet squat to save myself from face planting into the deck. 5FDP is pretty solid lifting jams man, for sure.

LOL, ok, well then they exist.
Today and tomorrow are techinically the “weekend off” lifting, since I started this cycle on a thursday rather than a monday. If I’m feeling up to it later, I’ll hit that session up. If not, I might just move Thursday’s session up to Wednesday? Or, I’ll just be a lazy ass and eat/rest for 2 days and continue to LWI Thursday with Week 3.

Off today, starting week 3 tomorrow. I got a friend of mine to start Sheiko yesterday. He’s the guy that trained with me on Saturday to get some pointers on it. Well, his text last night was “That was brutal. I took 2 min breaks from first round of bench to squats, but by the time I got to second bench set I was dizzy and out of breath. Took a 10 minute break and resumed. Squatting after benching and benching again is just plain brutal”
On the squat vid, hard to tell with the way the camera cut off, but it looks like your knees are shooting out over your toes. If that’s the case, stick your ass further back on the way down, like when you grind on gregon at the club.

He’s wanting to hit some certain numbers after plateuing (sp?) for a while, and I told him Sheiko will make it happen so he’s all over it.
I don’t think my knees are getting too far out front, but I’ll try to take a vid from the side next time for clarification. It’s hard to get good side vids in my tiny gym. And L.O.L. @ the mental cue for sitting back. I’ll DEFINITELY do that next time
